13 Ranking of DJSCE For The Year Outlook India Drshti Survey 2017 ranked DJSCE 3 rd in Mumbai & Pune Metro region along with IIT Bombay & College of Engineering, Pune (These are the only 3 institutes in the list from the region) and 33 rd amongst the Top 100 Engineering Colleges of India (Issue: 5th June, 2017). The Week HANSA Research Survey 2016 ranked DJSCE 7 th in the West Zone and 35 th in the top 113 Private Engineering Colleges of India (Issue: June 2015). Way2college has ranked DJSCE at 48th amongst the top 100 Engineering colleges of India. CSR GHRDC (Competition Success Review Global Human Resource Development Centre 2016) Survey has ranked DJSCE 5th in Maharashtra and 25th in the Top Engineering Colleges of Eminence in India (Issue: July 2016). 21 Students Major Achievements and Awards DJS Skylark successfully designed and manufactured an RC Aircraft and took part in SAE International AERO Design East International level RC Aircraft design competition organized by SAE International. It was held in Fort Worth, Texas, USA in March Secured fourth position overall, -Secured first position in design report, -Secured fourth position in flight round and -Secured 12th position in technical oral presentation.

They design, develop and test a race car that competes in Formula Student series held in India and around the globe. a) Team participated in Formula Bharat at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore from January 26th-29th Achieved overall rank of 6 out of 58 teams.team DJS Racing was awarded the best designed Formula style Race Car. b) Team has successfully qualified for Formula Student Germany and Czech Republic 2017, for their formula style race car. c) Team has successfully qualified for Formula Student Germany, which is to be held at Hockenheim Ring, Germany from August 8th to 13th August The team has been placed at 10th position worldwide in the registration quiz for Formula Student Germany /21/

23 Students Major Achievements and Awards (Contd ) DJS Kronos is an All-Terrain Vehicle design team that competes under the BAJA off-road vehicle design and race competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) annually in various locations spread out across the globe. a) Participated in Enduro Student India (ESI) competition held at Coimbatore from 5th to 9th January Achievements -Ranked 3rd in Mumbai, -Secured first runner up for sales event and -Secured second position in Sales Presentation.

24 Students Major Achievements and Awards (Contd ) DJS Helios A prototype of solar car has been designed and manufactured during December 2015 and April The team will be participating with its solar car in Asia s largest solar competition - ESVC (Electric Solar Vehicle Championship) held in March The team has successfully cleared Design Report Rounds A and B to qualify for the Dynamic Event. The manufacturing of the car will start by December followed by the testing phase in February

25 Students Major Achievements and Awards (Contd ) The college developed a Garbage Locator Application which can be used for civic purposes. BMC officials have collaborated with D.J. Sanghvi COE and initially launched this app on pilot basis in their K west municipal ward of Mumbai. Official launch of app was held at college on 23rd March Dr. Pallavi Darade, Additional Commissioner, Mumbai was the chief guest for this event. Aniket Sathe a M.E. student from EXTC Engineering department has secured 2 nd position in at the Avishkar Research Convention at Maharashtra Level, representing the University of Mumbai.

26 Students Major Achievements and Awards (Contd ) Seven students of BE IT Ankit Anchan, Sushant Tendulkar, Shantanu Kawlekar, Milit Betai, Anish Nair, Sharvil Kadam and Harsh Waghela participated in ihack Coding Competition organized in IIT Mumbai on 31st Jan 2016 and declared as winner (1st Prize) for the Competition. Two teams from Electronics Engineering Department received ZEE 24 TAAS AND DNA YOUNG INNOVATOR AWARDS. The team headed Siddhanth Gangapurwala for their Flight Simulator Project and other one by Aditya Ghadiyali for their work project autonomous quad copter for spraying pesticides and fertilizers. Shyam Mehta has secured 1st place at VJTI Hackathon, Hack4India and also at DJCSI Flagship event, Codeshastra. 11/21/

27 Students Major Achievements and Awards (Contd ) Lekhraj Varsheny from B.E. IT, Kunal Kukreja from B.E. Computer and Monik Pamecha from T.E. computer qualified online round of ACM ICPC Asia regional, Amritapuri Site, Kerala and also Chennai site. They secured 78 th place at Amritapuri site and 53 rd place at Chennai site. Another team of three students of Computer Engineering, Shyam Mehta, Chirag Jain and Paresh Desai secured 79 th Place at Amritapuri site. Monik Pameecha received 1st prize plus a Job Offer in Hackathon by Germin8 held in Germin8's Office. A two day continuous hackathon to use Machin Learning for Social Media Intelligence. Kunal Kukreja and Monik Pamecha from Computer Engineering secured 2 nd posiation in TCS Codevita World Finals.

28 Students Major Achievements and Awards (Contd ) Ronak Shah from Computer Engineering has Secured 1st position in Codegram, coding competition by Xavier Institute of Engineering & Completing an online course on Financial Markets by Yale University with a grade of 99.8%. Antara Dandekar, Samiksha Save, Siddhi Bhandarkar, Milparinka Desai from Bio- Medical Engineeing presented their project titled Immuno-Haematology System at competition Meditronix Trinity 2016 organised by Lokmanaya Tilak Muncipal Medical College, Sion Mumbai where they bagged 1st Prize on 13 Feb Soham Mehta, Mitali Shroff, Monis Qadri, Hiral Rayani, Vitrag Doshi (TE IT) secured the 1st Runner Up at Intercollegiate Poster Competition organized by Seed Infotech on occasion of ENGINEER S DAY. Chinmay Naik from Production Engineering has won the TCS best project award for 2016.

Student of BE IT Lekhraj Varshney won the 2nd prize in Coding Contest organized by Xavier s Institute Engineering on 6th Feb Team of 4 students from T.E. (IT) Mitali Shroff, Krutik Haria, Jay Shah and Akash Shah who participated in Mastek s Deep Blue Project Competition. Tracking quality of health services and medical outcome of the clinic visits to encourage health seeking behavior among the under privilege [Won 2nd prize and cash of Rs.50000/-]. Aishwarya Acharya from SE EXTC won the Zonal Level Robotic Competition Organized by Ark Technologies and IIT Madras. Pritam Karmarkar TE- Production Student received International level black belt in the year 2016 January. Also he got 2nd place AJKA India championship - 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal in 2016.
