2 EVENT information Event Registration Noon 1 p.m. Baker Pattillo tudent enter, first floor omplete a registration card, and receive further instruction and information. Opening Programs 1 1:45 p.m. The opening programs provide a friendly Lumberjack welcome to FA and an overview of the day s events. Three simultaneous opening programs will occur in the Grand Ballroom, located in the Baker Pattillo tudent enter; the Twilight Ballroom, located in the Baker Pattillo tudent enter; and Kennedy Auditorium. Guests may then visit the following areas: Academic Fair 1:45 4 p.m. tudent Recreation enter Representatives from each academic department and other academic support services will be available to discuss areas of interest. A complete list of FA s areas of study and a map of the fair may be found on Pages 4-5 in this program. tudent ervices Fair 2:30 4:30 p.m. Baker Pattillo tudent enter, first floor Representatives from many student support services and organizations will be available to discuss areas of interest. A complete list of FA s student organizations and a map of the fair may be found on Pages 6-7 in this program. ampus Tour Experience 1:45 5 p.m. FA Fountain Every 20 minutes, FA students will be available to lead you on a guided tour. The tour will provide a student s perspective of the FA experience. Residence Hall Tours 1:45 5 p.m. Use the enclosed map and on-campus signage to take a self-guided tour of your choice of residential facilities. Residence Life members will be available to help familiarize you with each facility. Office of Admissions - ounseling 1:45 5 p.m. Rusk Building, Room 206 Admissions counselors will be available to conduct status checks and discuss specific concerns of students who have applied for admission. Questions regarding residency and Veteran s Affairs/ GI Bill benefits also may be directed here. Applications and other literature will be available. Residence Life Information essions 2:30, 3:15 and 4 p.m. Baker Pattillo tudent enter - Theater, second floor Residence Life will present information on FA s residential facilities, policies and the benefits of living on campus. Financial Aid Information essions* 2:30, 3:15 and 4 p.m. Kennedy Auditorium taff from the Office of tudent Financial Assistance will present information on grants, loans, work-study programs and scholarships. Information will be available and payments accepted until 3:30 p.m. *Payments also will be accepted at the tudent ervices Fair from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Freshman Admission Information essions* 3:15 and 4 p.m. Baker Pattillo tudent enter - Twilight Ballroom, second floor An admissions counselor will provide details regarding FA s admission process for high school students who have not yet applied for admission. The information will include freshman admission standards, application guidelines and additional requirements. *urrent high school students enrolled in dual credit courses are considered incoming freshmen when applying for the semester directly following their high school graduation. Transfer Admission Information essions 3:15 and 4 p.m. Baker Pattillo tudent enter - Regents uite B, second floor An admissions counselor will provide details regarding the admission process for students who wish to transfer into FA from any college or university. The information will include transfer admission standards, application guidelines and additional requirements. Program Evaluation and T-shirt Give Away 4 5 p.m. Baker Pattillo tudent enter - Grand Ballroom Beginning at 4 p.m., turn in your completed evaluation located on Page 11 in this program for a free FA T-shirt (students only please). * The Richard and Lucille DeWitt chool of Nursing will host two tours: First tour will begin at 2:30 p.m. econd tour will begin at 3:30 p.m. 2
