2 WELCOME Greetings Brothers of the Mighty Seventh District: We welcome you to Atlanta and our. Our goal for this meeting is to enlighten and inform those attending of the tremendous efforts and activities you have performed in your respective states, and of your outreach and uplift in our communities. From the attached tentative agenda, you will see the business at hand including the various presentations, dialogue opportunities, community service projects and most importantly fellowship with familiar brothers and making new fraternal bonds. The location for our meeting is the intimate and accommodating Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Convention Center, located at 2450 Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA The Waverly is a short walk to the Atlanta Braves new SunTrust Baseball Park and Battery Entertainment District the site of several of our meeting s social activities. More on these activities later. Also, ETA Omega Chapter s Quettes have planned a great week for your Quette as well. For smartphone users, we will have an App to keep the meeting s agenda readily available and to keep you aware of any meetings updates or changes. Expect a link for this App and meeting updates as the date for the meeting get closer. Updates will be provided as we get closer to the meeting. We are excited about this meeting which leads us into the next Conclave where, with our strength and unity, we can influence the Leadership of our Great Fraternity. 4 Our 7th District Bylaws state "All Delegates shall be assessed the same fee" {Article VI, Section 3 (pg. 14)}. Therefore, if you register as a visiting brother and need to upgrade to serve as a delegate, the difference between the two designations MUST be paid. **MSP Brothers registering as a delegate pay the difference between delegate registration and the amount paid in MSP: Graduate: =55 Undergraduate: =80 NO REFUNDS will be processed until 30 days after the district meeting. Refund requests must be submitted via with copy of original receipt. District Meeting Gift: Below is a photograph of the District Meeting gift bag which can be personalized. Brothers that register after February 28, 2018 at midnight are not guaranteed a Seventh District Meeting gift. Brothers must be registered and present to receive their Seventh District Meeting gift. Personalization of the Seventh District Meeting gift bag is available and will be limited to your first initial and last name; personalization cost is $20 and is only for registered Brothers. The deadline to request personalization of your gift bag is March 1, If you forgot to pay to personalize your gift when you registered for the Meeting. You can make payment at
5 ACCOMMODATIONS & MEETINGS: The Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Convention Center, located at 2450 Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA and just northwest of downtown Atlanta, is the host hotel and site for our meetings. This is a full-service hotel with an indoor saltwater pool, 24-hour fitness center, spa and sauna. The hotel is adjacent to the Cobb Galleria and near Cumberland Mall. Downtown Atlanta is minutes away where you can visit the World of Coca Cola, Georgia Aquarium, CNN Center, The National Center for Civil and Human Rights, the home of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and other sites. Transportation from the Airport to the Hotel will be provided Wednesday Thursday and from Hotel to Airport on Sunday will be provided. Schedule to follow.
