B Coffee and company - chance to chat with staff about the programs and services they provide free to the community. Arc of Buffalo County Axtell Public Library BraveHearts Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Arc of Buffalo County th Avenue 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Axtell Public Library 305 North Main Axtell 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Paint Paradise 2114 Central Avenue Coffee, cocoa and cider served with your choice of holiday treats - bread pudding, brownies and baked goodies. Stop by the Axtell Public Library and enjoy a cup of coffee and apple cider. Join us for hot chocolate and cookies. Donors will have an opportunity to paint a family plate (some restrictions apply). This plate can become a family heirloom to display Christmas cookies for years to come. Buffalo County Community Partners 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Chapman Swifts Coffee House 2400 Central Avenue Join the Community Partners family around the fire pit for s'mores and coffee. They will be roasting s'mores in the courtyard and you can hear poems written by youth from their PhotoVoice program. The event is free to attend. S mores and coffee will be available to purchase (some restrictions apply). Enter to win a fire pit! Buffalo County Historical Society/Trails & Rails Museum 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Trails & Rails Museum's (Family History Center) 710 W 11th Street BCHS/Trails & Rails Museum will host an Open House inside their new Family History Center, so stop in for some goodies and enjoy the displays inside the building. Central Community College Foundation - Kearney CCC- Kearney Center th Avenue Open House for the new center with refreshments. Gift wrapping services with freewill offering. Central Nebraska Quilts of Valor American Legion Post # Central Avenue Please come and learn about Quilts of Valor. At this time, they will also be taking donations to help pay for supplies to make more quilts so that they can award them to more Veterans. Central Nebraska Veterans Memorial 11:00 am - 7:00 pm American Legion Post # Central Avenue Freewill offering three soups feed. All proceeds benefit the Central Nebraska Veterans Memorial. Page 1

2 Child Evangelism Fellowship of Central Nebraska 8:00 am - 7:00 pm Lighthouse Counseling Center (second floor of northern entrance) 2315 W 39th Street Visit them at their office to see their ministry at work and see all the materials that they use and need to do their clubs! Bring your donation and learn more about them! Classic Car Collection 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Classic Car Collection (located just east of Cabela's) Stop by the Classic Car Collection to help celebrate Kearney's Give Where You Live event! They will have light refreshments of coffee and cookies on site throughout the day. While dropping off donations, take the opportunity to tour the fantastic showroom of over 200 vehicles. You can also drop off donations for Give Where You Live during this time. Crane River Theater 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Barista's Daily Grind (both locations) th Avenue nd Avenue Crane River Theater will be at both Barista's Daily Grind locations from 7am-7pm on December 7th for Give Where You Live. Anyone who visits them at these locations and makes a donation will receive a complimentary Crane Cookie as a thank you! They will provide more information about Crane River Theater's productions and programs. Fort Kearney DAR 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm Meadowlark Manor clubhouse th Avenue They will celebrate Give Where You Live by handing out "How to Care for the US Flag brochures from DAR, and by serving cookies and coffee to all who stop by! Friends Program 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Moe's Restaurant 110 3rd Avenue Come in, enjoy the food. Check out The Friends Program display. 20% of all sales during dinner on December 7 (5-9 pm) will benefit the Friends Program. Gibbon Public Library Foundation 11:00 am - 6:00 pm Gibbon Public Library Community Room 116 La Barre Gibbon Library Open House. They invite you to stop in, enjoy some refreshments and check out what the entire library has to offer the community. Goodwill Industries 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Mission Services Offices th Ave Suites 42 & 48 Come and see what a difference Goodwill makes in the lives of people living with a disability or barrier. Take a tour of the service facility and enjoy a hot dog and chips during lunch. See firsthand how your giving will make a difference and change people's lives. HelpCare Clinic 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Raising Canes nd Avenue Stop in and enjoy some Raising Cane's chicken for supper and consider making a gift to the HelpCare Clinic! 3 K-9 Freekz Rescue 11:00 am - 8:00 pm They will be having a Microchip Clinic from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. at the. The cost of this service is $25. They will also be accepting donations for Give Where You Live so stop by and see them and meet some of their pups. They will have information on fostering and adopting, as well as other ways you can help them out. KACC - Mark Benjamin Building Opportunity Scholarship 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce nd Ave Come and help to "build" scholarships! Cookies and refreshments will be available as well as a chance to win prizes donated by BD Construction! Kearney Area Arts Council 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm Kearney Area Arts Council 2117 Avenue A Attend an Open House at their office with prizes, warm drinks and snacks! While dropping off a donation, you can register to win prizes including gift cards and donated t-shirts (some restrictions apply). From 6-8 pm, there will be live music. As always, their events are free and open to the public. Kearney Area Children's Museum 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Kearney Area Children's Museum th Ave Children are welcome to stop by the museum to decorate and eat their own Christmas cookie! Make sure to grab a glass of cold milk too. Adults are also welcome to visit and enjoy a hot cup of coffee while touring the museum to see the newest exhibit updates. Kearney Catholic High School Foundation 9:00 am - 2:00 pm St James Catholic Church (9 am-9:30 am) and KCHS Cope Coliseum lobby (10 am-2 pm) Support KCHS Foundation with a donation of $20.17 after Thursday morning school mass. Or "pop on over" to Cope Coliseum lobby for some popcorn and donate from 10am-2pm. (Spaghetti Shop and all three Taco John's locations will donate 10% of sales to KCHS Foundation on December 7). The goal this year is $10,000 to launch their new program called LIVESTRONG at the YMCA. They will have a variety of soup to warm your tummy and when you give a donation to warm your heart, you will get to draw for special savings in their Thrift Store. Kearney Literacy Council 7:00 am - 11:00 am Panera Bread nd Ave Come and Go Scrabble Event. Come and play a Scrabble tile with them! Kearney Rail Viewing Platform 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Circle D Boot & Saddle Repair 1906 Central Avenue They will be hosting a get together to allow supporters to view the latest developments on the Rail Viewing Platform. Supporters will be able to make donations and view an artist rendering of the project. Refreshments and train viewing are free. See you there! Page 3

They will have a table set up displaying pictures and videos about Special Olympics. Kearney Therapeutic Horseback Riding Programs 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm Family Fresh corner of 39th Street and 2nd Avenue They will have two therapy horses on site. People are welcome to stop by and pet the horses, learn more about what they do or just say hi! You ll be able to drop off your Give Where You Live donations, too! Kearney Whitewater Association 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm The Coop Banquet Hall 115 East 21st Street Family Friendly Destination. Free chili and cinnamon rolls and corndogs for the kids (or the kid inside you). Kid Zone with games. Come and join them for supper and they will be happy to show you what they are working on! They have made some significant strides in the past few months, which make their fundraising efforts even more important this year! Kids & Dreams Foundation 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Chicken Coop 2115 A Ave Their Foundation will have a gathering to celebrate GWYL and promote their mission. It will include free appetizers and a chance to talk with board members about their operations like Shine Camp and other programs they have set up. They will also have drawings for Kids & Dreams merchandise. Come on out and join them! McKenna s Rae of Hope 11:00 am 10:00 pm Join the board and volunteers of the McKenna s Rae of Hope Foundation as they hand out information and prizes. They will also be accepting any Give Where You Live donations at this time. Museum of Nebraska Art 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm Coppermill Steakhouse & Lounge 421 Talmadge Street Support the Museum of Nebraska Art by dining at one of Kearney's finest restaurants. Coppermill has two missions: serve guests the best tasting food possible and deliver high quality service to ensure satisfaction by their guests. Funds raised will go to Give Where You Live! Northeast Elementary Bobcats at Play They will have a display showing the current playground equipment and the projected new equipment. They will have flyers showing what and why they have a need, the price of the equipment and what they are doing to reach their goals. They will have a donation box and ipad for online donations. Please come out to support the community s kids! Pleasanton Community Fund 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Riverstop Convenience Plaza 110 East Elm Street Pleasanton Stop by the RiverStop and enjoy a cup of coffee and learn more about your Community Fund. Your Pleasanton Fund board members would love to visit with you and help with your donations. Ravenna Community Foundation 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Ravenna Senior Citizen Center 315 Grand Avenue Ravenna This year the Senior Center will be the place to be to give your donation on December 7. Refreshments will be provided by the Ravenna Community Foundation. (Lunch will be served to senior citizens for a fee.) Ravenna Public Library 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm Ravenna High School Carthage Rd Ravenna There will be a collection location during the Ravenna High School girls basketball games. Page 4

New Commons Area (Shelton Building for Tomorrow, Shelton Cemetery Beautification, Shelton Fireworks Fund, Shelton FFA Booster Club, Shelton Organizations 8:00 am - 7:00 pm West Doors Shelton Historical Society, Shelton Lions Club, Shelton Elementary PTO, Shelton Goodfellows, Shelton SHELL, STAND, 210 9th St Shelton Public School Foundation, Shelton Youth Sports Club, Kids and Dream s Foundation) Shelton Salvation Army 9:00 am - 8:00 pm Bell ringing spots Walmart, Hy-Vee, JCPenny's, Boogaarts, Family Fresh, and Apple Market They need volunteers to ring bells on December 7. This is The Salvation Army's traditional season of fundraising. The money that is raised during this day will help give assistance to families during this Christmas season. Give Where You Live donations can also be dropped off. United Campus Ministry 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm UCM Houses 805 and 811 W 26th St Come join them for a warm bowl of homemade soup and other seasonal goodies to celebrate the season and support them during the Give Where You Live Campaign. Zion Lutheran School 8:00 am 4:00 pm Zion Lutheran School 2421 Ave C Drop off a donation for Give Where You Live and support the students at Zion Lutheran School. Page 5
