Yearly Pass $20.00, Non-Residents $35.00 Available online at the Lisbon Town Hall or Parks & Recreation Department Beaver Park is a family friendly, 330-acre wooded park located off Cotton Rd. It has several swimming areas, picnic tables, and a 7-acre multi-purpose field. Take a walk with your family or dog on the miles of trails available or complete the fitness course with exercise stations at 3 different locations. You can fish from the stocked ponds (limit two per person), and in the winter use your snowshoes or cross country skis. All residents and non-residents are invited to enjoy the natural beauty that abounds in the park where a wealth of nature s beauty and solitude are offered. Fishing Derby - May 6, 2017 Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and fishing derby runs from 8:00-10:00 a.m. Derby will be officiated by Wildlife Biologist Ben Nugent. Prizes and awards for children 1-15 years of age. Winter Fest - January 20, 2018 This exciting annual event is returning for its 3rd year. Enjoy live ice sculpting and lots of great food while taking part in snowshoeing, dog sledding, and ice skating. It will host an array of vendors and provide plenty of games and entertainment for children. Lisbon Trail System The Lisbon Trail System consists of the Ricker Farm Trail, the Paper Mill Trail (1.5 mi.) and the new Androscoggin River Trail (1.8 mi.) for a total of four miles of bicycle and pedestrian trails. These trails can be accessed at either end or in the middle via Lisbon Community School or Miller Park. The paved trails will take you by farm land, the Sabattus River, and the Androscoggin River. The northern segment travels along open terrain, edging fields before heading into a densely-wooded segment along the Sabattus River. Miller Park, located at the middle of the trail, offers a boat launch, picnic facilities and a portable toilet. The southern portion is lightly-wooded and borders the Androscoggin River which offers scenic views and bird watching. Benches and dog waste stations are available along the trail. For more information about the trails, contact the Parks and Recreation office. Tennis Courts Pinewoods Sports Complex, featuring two ballfields, is located off Pinewoods Road, just past Beaver Park. Call the Parks and Recreation Department for reservations. Tennis courts are available from dawn to dusk behind Lisbon High School for recreational play. Also lined for Pickle-ball play. Ice Skating 4 Contact the Parks and Recreation Department for information on ice at Beaver Park.

5 . health & fitness. Lisbon Recreation Fitness Center $15.00 / per month Become a member and you can work out in our cardio and weight lifting rooms. Registration and orientation are required. We offer a Senior Citizen Discount, folks 60 and above are $10/month. Silver & Gold Aerobics $35.00 / 6 week session This is a gentle aerobic class geared toward senior exercisers. It includes the use of hand weights, bands and tubes. It is an hour of fun for the mind and body. This class runs year round, in six-week sessions every Tuesday and Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and is taught by instructor Linn Morin. Yoga $50.00 / 8 week session Zumba $25.00 punch card drop-in - $5.00 Both gentle and moderate classes are offered. Gentle is slower paced and focuses on breathing, stretching and balance. Gentle classes are Tuesdays 6:15-7:15 p.m. Yin Yoga focuses on seated postures for longer periods of time to stimulate connective tissue. It is offered Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 p.m., all levels welcome. Classes are eight-weeks long and are available from September to June at the MTM Center. Please bring yoga mat, blanket and water bottle. Class is led by Tonia Keating, Certified Pranakriya Yoga Teacher. First class is FREE to try Drop in for only $5.00 or purchase a 6 class punch card for only $ Zumba is the most awesome workout ever Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it Taught by licensed Zumba instructor, Casey Levesque. Classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 p.m. PiYO Live $30.00 / 6 week session Turbo Kick Kickboxing $30.00 / 6 week session PiYO LIVE is not like standard Pilates or Yoga. PiYO speeds everything up, including your results, by introducing you to dynamic, flowing sequences that can burn serious calories. At the same time, they lengthen and tone your muscles and increase flexibility. Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Taught by instructor Katelyn Syphers. This cardio kick-boxing class incorporates upper-body punches, lower-body kicks, a little hip-hop and interval training all choreographed to energizing music that will get your heart pumping. June 28th - August 16th Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. All Camps: 7 Weeks - $ Weekly Trip Fees Cricket Day Camp Grades K - 1st Lisbon Community School Trekker Day Camp Grades 2nd - 4th Lisbon Community School Playground Day Camp Grades 4th - 8th MTM Community Center *Parents of 4th graders may choose Trekker or Playground Camp. At our summer camps kids become a community. They learn how to be more independent and how to contribute to their group while they engage in social and physical activities. They will enjoy structured recreational activities, such as action packed games, arts and crafts, skits, tournaments, outside play, and quiet play. Day camps take weekly trips to various locations such as: Funtown/Splashtown USA, Aquaboggan, Range Pond and Sebago Lake State Park. Trips may vary per camp to accommodate the age groups. Each participant will receive a special camp t-shirt to wear on all trips for easy identification. There will be an additional cost for all trips. Registrations and payments for all trips must be turned in prior to trip day at the camp site. A lunch/snack program is available and is provided by The Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program (MCHPP). Children are encouraged to wear sneakers and dress appropriately for the weather. Parent Guides are available at the Parks & Recreation Office and online at 8

June 26th - August 12th $75 $30 Track & Field Co-Ed Coach: Jenniffer Perron Ages 5-15 / Mon, Tue & Thur Practices: M & T 9:00-10:30 a.m. Meets: Thursdays Lisbon High School Track This program is designed for all skills and abilities. Running, sprinting, high jumping, relays, and throwing are just a few of the fun events in which children can test their skills and compete against other teams. Transportation to and from meets will be provided. July 24th - August 3rd $30 $30 Basketball Camp Co-ed Coach: Julie Collins Monday - Thursday Grades K - 3rd 5:30-6:30 p.m. Grades 4th - 6th 6:30-8:00 p.m. Lisbon High School Gymnasium This camp will prepare participants to be the best they can be. Skills, drills and basketball strategies will be the primary focus for this two week camp. July 31st - August 11th Soccer Camp Co-ed Coach: David Novaria Monday - Friday Grades K - 2nd 8:30-9:30 a.m. Grades 3rd - 6th 9:30-10:30 a.m. Lisbon High School Soccer Field Learn all the skills you need to have fun playing soccer. Have a ball and get a jump on the fall soccer season July 24th - July 28th Football Camp Coach: Chris Kates & Dan Leeman Monday - Friday Grades 9th - 12th 4:00-6:00 p.m. Grades 3rd - 8th 5:30-7:30 p.m. Lisbon High School Football Field One of the most popular sport camps we offer. Participants will practice skills and at the same time condition to prepare for the upcoming fall season. July 24th - July 28th $30 $20 Field Hockey Camp Coach: Julie Petrie Monday - Friday Grades K - 8th 9:00-11:00 a.m. Lisbon High School Field Hockey Field June 26th - July 31st Little Styx Coach: Julie Petrie Every Monday Starting June 26th Grades K - 8th 5:00-6:00 p.m. Lisbon High School Field Hockey Field New skills, game strategy, and field positioning will be a part of this fun and exciting summer camp $30 June 26th - June 30th Youth Tennis Camp Coach: Georgia Ahlers Monday - Friday Ages 8-15 from 5:15-6:30 p.m. Lisbon High School Tennis Courts Progression of field hockey skills over the course of the summer. This camp will focus on basics of the game, stick skills, positioning, and game strategies. $250 July or July 31st - August 4th Horse Camp Coach: Jennifer Novaria Ages 7 years + 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Safe Haven Farm, Shiloh Road, Durham 9 Kick up some fun with horses. Hair, hay and lots of neighs. Grooming, feeding and basic horse care. It s not all work and not all play, there s lots of riding during the day

Swim Lessons YWCA July 10th - August 14th Grades K - 8th $50.00 Six weeks of instruction at the YWCA for beginners to intermediate levels, combined with free swim to practice newly learned skills. Transportation provided from all summer day camps. Mondays 2:00-3:00 p.m. Movies in the Park Schedule for 2017 All Ages FREE Movies for the whole family to enjoy at no cost. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy an evening with family and friends. Concessions will be available. This year movies will be shown on Fridays with a rain date on Saturday. July 28th Rogue One Rain Date: July 29th August 11th Sing Rain Date: Aug 12th August 25th Secret Life of Pets Rain Date: Aug 26th Lisbon Community Gardens Judy Arledge Coordinator (207) Grow your own vegetables by renting a raised bed or volunteer at the Lisbon Community Garden, located on South Street. The Lisbon Community Garden is focused on education and food production. At its core will be garden space that will serve as an educational, production, and gathering place that will nurture community as well as crops. For more information, contact Judy Arledge. 10

Portland Sea Dogs June 25th 1:00 p.m. $5.00 / Ticket Enjoy time with family and friends watching America s favorite past-time as the Sea Dogs take on the Harrisburg Senators for this Sunday afternoon game. Tickets available at Lisbon Parks & Recreation. Bike Rodeo July 26th 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Grades K-8 FREE The Lisbon Police Department and the Lisbon Parks & Recreation staff will conduct an obstacle course and a slow race. All bikes will be registered by the Police Department. Each participant s name will be placed in a drawing to win free bikes that will be drawn the same day Lunch will be served. Location: Lisbon Community School National Night Out August 1st 5:00-7:30 p.m. All Ages FREE Come join the Lisbon Police Department and the Lisbon Parks & Recreation staff for this annual community building event. Enjoy a cookout and entertainment for the entire family There will be door prizes and convincer seatbelt sled. Location: MTM Community Center Park Funtown U.S.A. August 10th 2:00-10:15 p.m. Grades 6-12 $10.00 Departs at 2:00 p.m. Returns at 10:15 p.m. Families welcome This is the best value of the summer You may ride the bus or drive yourself and meet us at Funtown to receive your bracelet. Before & After School Recreation Program Before School After School Grades K - 5th Grades K - 6th $12.00/week or $3.00/day (Drop Off) $40.00/week or $10.00 / day (Drop Off) 7:00-7:45 a.m. 3:00-5:30 p.m. Lisbon Community School MTM Center Before School takes place in the cafetorium and the gym. Children must be walked in to the staff. After School children take the bus to MTM. They have gym/playground time and arts and crafts. Be sure to get the parent guide for these programs at the office or online. Registration must be renewed for returning participants. Hunter Safety Course Several types of courses will be offered September and October: Hunter Safety for Deer Hunting, Crossbow Safety and Archery Education Spring: Hunter Safety, Crossbow Courses are taught by certified instructors and participants will have a state certificate upon successful completion of a course. Please call the Parks and Recreation office for specifics on the course you want. 12

13 . fall Sports. REGISTRATION BEGINS MAY 1ST Tackle Football 7th & 8th Grade $75.00 There is a home and away schedule. Practices will begin in mid-august. Daily practices are expected to prepare participants for a more competitive environment. Games are played on Wednesdays. Physicals are required. Pee-Wee Football 3rd & 4th Grade $65.00 Home and away games are played on Saturdays. Practice will begin in mid-august for this seven-week program in which children learn the basics of the game. Physicals are recommended... Youth Football 5th & 6th Grade $65.00 Home and away games are played on Saturdays. Practice will begin in mid-august for this seven-week program in which children learn the basics of the game. Physicals are recommended. Flag Football 1st & 2nd Grade $30.00 Home and away games are played on Saturdays. Practice will begin after Labor Day for this program in which children learn the basics of the game. Physicals are recommended. Field Hockey 6th - 8th Grade $65.00 A home and away schedule is a part of this program. Practices begin after Labor Day. Daily practices are expected to prepare participants for a more competitive environment. Physicals are required. Youth Soccer Co-ed K - 6th Grade $35.00 A seven-week program in which the skills of soccer and having fun are emphasized. Competition is a low priority. Sneakers and shin guards are required. Physicals and mouth pieces are recommended. Each participant will receive a game t-shirt. Games are on Saturdays at Lisbon High School. Practice may begin the week of August 21. Registration Deadline for soccer is August 19th Soccer Players in Grades 3-6 will be evaluated on August 26th to determine teams 13 Little Kickers Co-ed 3-4 Years* $30.00 A five-week program in which the basic skills of soccer and having fun are emphasized. Sneakers and shin guards are required. Each participant will receive a game t-shirt. Games will be held on Sundays starting on September 10 at 10:00 a.m. MTM Community Center Park. *Includes Pre-K

14 . winter/spring. & LISBON REC WINTER TRIPS Each year there are several group outings. Ever year it changes according to things being offered in our area. We do trips and activities such as the Harlem Globetrotters, Disney on Ice, group skating at the Norway Bank Arena and others. There is a bus offered and group pricing. Check in December and see what we have coming up Lost Valley Ski & Board Lessons Lisbon Students 2nd - 8th Grade January 8, 2018 will be the first day of lessons at 6:00 p.m. and will continue every Monday for 6 consecutive weeks Cost: Lessons: 75 mins $ Includes lift ticket from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Equipment Rentals: for entire 6 week program: + $80.00 Helmet Add-On Option: + $20.00 Ticket only: $60.00 Transportation provided by the Parks and Recreation Department for lesson times only, not the duration of the lift ticket. Registration will be available online only at Swimming Lessons - YWCA Swim lessons are offered during the winter. The session is after February vacation for six weeks. Children may ride a bus from MTM to the YWCA in Lewiston for lessons with Y-certified instructors. After the half hour lesson, there is a half hour free swim. $60.00 Basktball Pee Wee & Youth Leagues Basketball Clinics for K-1 Skills & Drills is formatted in stations for children to learn basic ball handling. This is a six-week program beginning in January, that will include some scrimmaging. $20.00 Basketball League for 2nd-6th Grade These programs begin in November running through February vacation. It begins with a skills assessment and drafting of teams, practices throughout the week and games on Saturdays at Lisbon Community School. We also hold a Hot Shot contest and winners of the age groups compete in the regional competition. $35.00 Register by November 10, 2017 Open Gym Adult Basketball Pickup games all winter long. 15 . sunshine hill seniors. The SSH Seniors Programs are designed to keep our retired population social and active. A monthly calendar of events is available at the MTM Center or Aline Strout, Seniors Coordinator, Meals Friday Meals - There is a meal every Friday, lunch one week and breakfast the next. Lunches, served at noon, are homemade on the premises. Drinks and desserts are included. Breakfasts are served from 7:30-9 a.m. and are cooked to order. Suggested donation: $4 per meal Fitness Silver & Gold Aerobics - This is a class geared toward the senior population which combines several styles of stretching, balance and strength building. September through June: Pickle-ball - It s the newest fitness workout. Bring a friend and try it Monday - Wednesday 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the MTM gym. Line Dancing - This beginner class will learn the popular dances and have lots of fun too Thursdays: 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Yoga Classes - Tuesdays: Gentle 6:15-7:15 p.m. and Yin 7:30-8:30 p.m. Games Cribbage tournaments are every Monday at 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. All levels of play are welcome. No membership is required. Coffee and snacks are available. There is also a pool table available for use as well.
