INFANT BAPTISMS: Celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of each month after the 11am mass, excluding the season of Lent. First time parents and godparents are expected to patriciate in a baptism preparation seminar and should call the parish office well in advance of the anticipated delivery date. RCIA: Classes begin in the Fall and culminate in the spring at Easter Vigil. Call the parish office for information. HOLY ORDERS: If you feel called to consider a vocation to the priesthood, diaconate or other religious life, call the parish office to speak to one of our priests or deacons. OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP NOVENA: TUESDAY, FOLLOWING 8:30 A.M. MASS CONFIRMATION: Classes begin in the spring of Sophomore year of high school. There are several classes throughout the Sophomore and Junior years. Confirmation usually takes place in early spring of Junior year. Contact the parish office in the beginning of the candidate s sophomore year of school. MATRIMONY: The policy of the Archdiocese requires a minimum 6 8 months preparation period during which time the couple meets with the priest or deacon and participates in the Archdiocesan marriage preparation program. Engaged couples should contact the parish office no less than 6 months prior to the anticipated date of marriage ANNOINTING OF THE SICK: If you know of a parishioner in need of anointing of the sick, please call the parish office to setup a visit with one of our priests. We have Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who will deliver Communion to the homebound. Call the parish office to arrange for these visits.

5 POWER hour St. Angela Merici CYO Fall Troops Drive During Power Hour on October 18, 2017, the parish will pray for the protection of life from conception to natural death. Please join us to pray for life! *Every first Wednesday of the month, the parish will pray for your loved ones who need prayers during Power Hour. Their names will be mentioned in the opening prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. If you would like their name mentioned, please call the parish office, , and give their name by Friday before the first Wednesday of the month.* St. joseph s altar On Thursday, October 19th, at 6:00 p.m., in the Kern Center, a St. Joseph s Altar Ministry Members Meeting to kickoff our activities for our 2018 St. Joseph s Day Celebration will be held. Our celebration is a Parish Family event in honor of St. Joseph and in gratitude for all of our blessings. The celebration includes viewing of the Altar (displaying artistically designed foods, symbolic pastries, & memorials to loved ones), a special praying of the Rosary, a traditional St. Joseph Altar meal, etc. Numerous opportunities for volunteers to become ministry members and participate are available. Much preparation is required leading up to the activities planned, and for the actual Feast Day. Following our meeting, we will continue our efforts to make Rosaries for the areas in Florida and Texas that were devastated by recent hurricanes. Please join us for some fellowship and fun! At 6:00 pm, Archbishop Gregory Aymond will celebrte mass in honor of St. Padre Pio.
