2 General Information PROGRAM DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVE It is the intent of the North Carolina Chapter of the American College of Radiology to provide its members with information to help in the maintenance of their local radiology practices. At the conclusion of this CME activity, attendees should be better able to: Have a better understanding on medical malpractice litigation Have a better understanding as to standard of care issues Know how to explain to the jury what happened Understand malpractice risk in North Carolina CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT Accreditation Statement: CMC-NorthEast is accredited by the North Carolina Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
