Annual Meeting Friday, June 27 Keynote Address Speaker TBA TBA Speaker Jack McCall Jack McCall is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, the Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt University, and the Graduate School of Banking at South Louisiana State University. He is recognized by the National Speakers Association as a Certified Professional Speaker (CSP). Mr. McCall began his career as a marketing specialist for the Tennessee and U.S. Departments of Agriculture. Over a span of twenty years he distinguished himself as a financial services professional, healthcare executive and business leader. After developing his storytelling craft for over thirty-five years, he left the corporate world in 2000 and founded Jack McCall and Associates, a professional speaking/training firm based in Hartsville, Tennessee. Closing Session Saturday, June Hours Inside the President s Bunker Target Audience: All convention attendees and spouses 9:00 am On September 11, 2001, Lieutenant Colonel Darling was working in the White House Military Office and was initially tasked to coordinate airlift assets for the President s evacuation to an undisclosed site. However, he was quickly recruited to provide his military expertise and become a liaison between the Vice President, National Security Advisor and the Pentagon. During the next 24 hours he received real time information from numerous government agencies and worked directly with the National Command Authority to respond to the terrorist attacks. Lieutenant Colonel Darling witnessed firsthand the enormity of the crisis and the leadership decisions that were made that day on behalf of all Americans. Speaker Lieutenant Colonel Robert J. Darling, United States Marine Corps (Ret.) In October 2007, Lieutenant Colonel Darling retired from the United States Marine Corps with just over twenty years of active duty service. He was selected to fly as a presidential pilot with Marine Helicopter Squadron One and in October 2000, he was handpicked to work for the White House Military Office, Airlift Operations Department. It was in that capacity that Lt. Col. Darling supported the President, Vice President and National Security Advisor on September 11, Bob is a public speaker on crisis leadership and decision making and is the author of 24 Hours Inside the President s Bunker, 9/11/01: The White House.

Boosting Your Emotional Intelligence Target Audience: Credit Union staff, spouses and guests 2:00 3:00 pm Speaker: Amy Wood, Psy.D. A high IQ doesn t necessarily translate into academic, career or social success. The most accurate predictor of success is emotional intelligence, or EQ the capacity to understand one s self and others and apply that understanding effectively in real world situations. This workshop covers the components of emotional intelligence, why it s essential, ways to increase it, and how to leverage it to enhance success in all areas of life. Amy Wood, Psy.D. is a Portland, Maine-based psychologist, executive coach, and author of the award-winning book Life Your Way. Known for her optimistic and practical style, she has helped countless adults from all walks of life and work to articulate and accomplish their own versions of success. She is a member of the National Speakers Association, and is often called on for her expert opinion by media ranging from the local news to Parade Magazine. Registrations submitted electronically will be billed in June. Banquet Seating: Seating for the evening banquet and entertainment will be assigned on a first registered, first seated basis. Meals and seating assignments cannot be guaranteed for individuals not registering by May 30, Please plan ahead to avoid problems. Individuals not registered by May 30 may not be seated with their credit union. The registration badge will be used to gain entrance into the exhibit area and banquet functions (including seating assignments). Attendance and seating at the evening festivities is for banquet and evening program registrants only.
