2 May 2016 Monthly Performance Report Mark These Dates on the Calendar! Date Event Location Take a Kid Fishing Day Cleveland Park Stump Jump Croft State Park Volunteers Help Keep Parks Beautiful Spartanburg Parks values the many groups that volunteer to help beautify our parks. The Church of Latter Day Saints sent two groups to help with projects at North Spartanburg Park and Chesnee Community Park over the Memorial Day weekend. The groups helped with a mulching project in Chesnee and with painting in North Spartanburg Park. Parks Employees Hear from County Leaders Parks Department employees gathered at Holston Creek Park for a departmental event and had the opportunity to hear from County Council Chairman Jeff Horton and County Administrator Katherine O Neill. It was a wonderful opportunity for the staff to hear from County leadership and network as a department.
