Programs of Study - sequence of courses that lead students to the workplace and /or postsecondary education Pathways Resource Center Give students opportunities beyond the classroom to explore a career in their chosen POS through WBL, CTSOs, etc.
6 Student course data enrollment in courses, demographics of students, etc. Local and State workforce/employment data National data trends and comparisons Work with your CTE Director, Education for Employment (EFE) System Director, Community College, Workforce Board, and others to gather data to support and /or improve your program.

15 Marketing strategies do not always work out the way intended. Re-evaluate the strategies continue with ones that worked and replace others with new strategies until you get the desired results Develop a measure of success with your team.
16 Are your CTE courses relevant? Is your content up-to-date? How much is lecture vs. hands-on activities? Do they prepare students for careers? Do they count toward a graduation requirement? Do you incorporate the use of technology? Do they reflect your community s needs? Have you consulted with local or regional business and industry on their skill set needs?

Implement new strategies in your CTE program Focus on a quality program that benefits the students, community, and business/industry
21 People are very supportive because they see the VALUE in what you do and what you offer! Your CTE programs have ADDED value to the student and community! Your institution is more appealing because of the PRODUCTS and SERVICES offered through the CTE programs.
