1 Truck 679 GPS Vendor 2/Electronic Fuel Vendor 2 GPS Vendor 2 provides a daily Jurisdiction Distance report including odometer readings at the beginning and ending of a day and a summary of distance by jurisdiction daily. No routing included. o Question: How would total distance by jurisdiction be verified? Odometer readings are gathered through the ECM and reported by the GPS vendor. Physical odometer readings from the dashboard can be different than the ECM. o Question: Would this matter? If so, which reading ECM or physical is preferred to validate distance? Fuel cards are assigned to each driver. There is the possibility that a driver changes trucks and fuel is reported to an incorrect truck. o Question: If it is valid tax-paid fuel for a qualified fleet vehicle, does that create an audit dilemma? Fuel is not reported between 9/6/17 9/19/17, and the MPG is high. o Question: If the overall fleet MPG was consistent for the fleet, would there be an audit adjustment made for this truck for what appeared to be missing fuel? o Question: If the ECM reported fuel fill-ups but did not have the receipt to match, would credit be allowed on fuel reported from the ECM? o Question: Would a picture of a fuel receipt taken by the driver at the time of fill up be considered a valid receipt for tax-paid credit if it contained the required information and was legible?
