2 Temporary/Permanent Gate Passes Checklist VALID UNTIL MEMBER S DEROS/PROCESS TAKES 1-3 WEEKS All Temporary Passes will be made on the spot. Permanent Passes will take days to complete. **NOTE ALL TEMPORARY GATE PASSES WILL ONLY BE VALID FOR 21 DAYS. ** ALL MEMBERS AGES 12 AND OVER MUST HAVE A GATE PASS. Military Members (1) Copy of Travel Orders, amendments, and Extensions Photocopy of your I.D. Card. (Front and Back) (1) Copy of Official Stamped NATO ORDERS. Dependent Members Copy of Sponsor s PCS orders, amendments, and Extensions Photocopy of Sponsor s and Dependent s I.D. card. (Front and Back) Photocopy of the DEPENDENT S Passport Picture Page and Entry Stamped Page. Copy of SPONSOR S OFFICIAL STAMPED NATO ORDERS. Dependents must be listed on the SPONSOR S PCS ORDERS. Civilian Members (1) Copy of Travel Orders, amendments, and Extensions Photocopy of your I.D. Card. (Front and Back) Photocopy of Passport Picture Page and Entry Stamped Page. DEROS verification letter.

3 Residency Permits PROCESS WILL TAKE 90 DAYS Note: Initial Applicants must apply for their Residency Permits within 15 days of arrival into the country. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A NO FEE PASSPORT, YOU WILL NEED TO APPLY FOR ONE AT THE MILITARY PERSONNEL SQUADRON IN BLDG 833 IMMEDIATELY!!!! Your Residency Permit will last until the last day of your DEROS month. If you have a NO FEE PASSPORT that will expire during your tour, your RESIDENCY PERMIT will expire as well. Please keep this in mind so that you can renew your NO FEE PASSPORT in time. If you fail to renew on time, you will be subject to late fees and possible barment from Turkey. Dependent/Civilian Members Need an Official Passport (NO FEE), with an entrance stamp (if your TOURIST PASSPORT or e-visa was stamped with the entrance stamp, please bring them both with you) Completed Application Forms can be found on the S drive under 39 SFS S:\39SFS\!!!PASS AND REGISTRATION!!! TL. This fee is reimbursable through finance. The residency clerk in the pass and registration office will provide you with a receipt that needs to be given to the finance office in order to be reimbursed. DO NOT LOSE THIS RECEIPT; YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN ANOTHER ONE! MAINTAIN THE RECEIPT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE YOUR ACTUAL RESIDENCY PERMIT! 5 Photos. Photos will be taken at Pass and Registration. Sponsor s PCS orders with extensions and DEROS verification letter (if applicable) Photocopy of sponsor s ID card (front and back) Command sponsorship letter (unless dependents are listed on sponsor s PCS orders) Dependents with one Turkish parent must have birth certificate of registration (Vukuatle NUFUS Kayit Ornegi) from the Turkish birth registration office (NUFUS). Copy of E-Visa (if applicable) Expiring Residency Permit DEROS verification letter Original Birth Certificate (if applicant is gained thru Stork Nesting program or born in Turkey)

4 Blue Book PROCESS TAKES 6-8 WEEKS The Blue Book is for active duty military and civilian employee s assigned to Incirlik Air Base. The Blue Book is a Turkish translation of your military I.D. card. Your Blue Book takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks to come back once the application has been initiated. Once your Blue Book has returned to the Pass and Registration Office, you will receive an stating your documents are ready for pick up. The following items must be provided in order to apply for your Blue Book: The Blue Book Application Form can be found on the S drive under 39 SFS S:\39SFS\!!!PASS AND REGISTRATION (2) Photos. Photos can be taken at Pass and Registration. (1) Copy of PCS orders to show you are assigned to Incirlik Air Base Tax Exemptions PROCESS TAKES 4-5 WEEKS A tax exemption is required for all POV S/Motorcycles. It is a NATO requirement that prevents the member from being charged with import fees/taxes in Turkey. Ensure that you apply for your tax exemption during your in-processing period. Please have your VIN#, Personal information and the required items below: (1) Copy of passport (2) Copies of PCS orders Tax exemption application can be found on the S drive under 39 SFS S:\39SFS\!!!PASS AND REGISTRATION

5 Tax ID PROCESS TAKES 4-5 days Tax ID application can be found on the S drive under 39 SFS S:\39SFS\!!!PASS AND REGISTRATION!!! (1) Copy of Blue Book or Passport Picture page (either one will suffice) Vehicle Registration PROCESS TAKES 4-6 weeks VEHICLE BEYANNAME (4-5 business days) Member will contact Delta VPC to setup appointment ( ) (3) Copies of PCS orders (3) Copies of Official Stamped NATO orders (1) Copy of title or previous registration ADVANCED POV FORM can be found on the S drive under 39 SFS S:\39SFS\!!!PASS AND REGISTRATION!!! Note**Ensure you know the number of seats, engine block number, VIN, color and vehicle body type - Needs to be accurate** AF FORM 533 can be found on the S drive under 39 SFS S:\39SFS\!!!PASS AND REGISTRATION!!! Fill out all requested information on form. Sign both signature blocks TL (622.00TL MOTORCYCLE) Make sure to have exact change. This fee is subject to change at any time due to exchange rate or rate set by Turkish law.
