3 A B O U T U S Operation Teammate in Augusta, Georgia, is a children's focused organization engaged in supporting the sons and daughters of all branches of the military. We provide these children with a memorable sporting experience by teaming them with sports teams who make them honorary members during various times. With extensive research and more than 10,000 hours of community involvement, we have found athletic and community organizations are more than eager to join our cause. We don't just assist children while their parents are away; we help build their character, so they become significant members of the community like their parents. At Operation Teammate, we understand the challenges that come with being a military child. While you are on duty across the globe, we provide an opportunity for them to grow socially and build self-confidence through Impactful Athlete Interaction.

4 O U R V I S I O N Our aim is to determine the most appropriate avenue to meet an array of family goals and bring a memorable sporting experience to these children. By doing this, we are able to build a better community while establishing that bridge between families and organizations. O U R G O A L Our core program goal is driven from the Impactful Athlete Interaction that is created from the positive sporting experiences Operation Teammate provides. 5 A B O U T O U R F O U N D E R & P R E S I D E N T TIMOTHY D. MONTJOY Tim Montjoy is a retiree of the United States Air Force and currently resides in Augusta, Georgia. His Air Force career spanned from and took him to such overseas assignments as Osan Air Base, South Korea to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, and Zabul, Afghanistan. Tim managed Tier-1 technical support by monitoring and reporting services related to Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) for a 600 million dollar infrastructure and 2.4 billion dollars in Air Combat Command assets. These services included systems used by the 31 thousand Active Duty and Retiree population throughout the Carolina region. Additionally, he is the recipient of the 2006 Communications and Information Non- Commissioned Officer of the Year award, the 2012 Air Force Sergeants Association s, Chapter 377, Volunteer of the Year award and was selected as the 2015 Air Force Sergeants Association s, Chapter 377, Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year. Tim and his entire family have a passion for making an impact with our military children throughout the military and local communities. This dedication directly supports the betterment of the military and civilian communities across our great nation.

7 PAT H W AY T O S U C C E S S Since 2015, Operation Teammate has provided opportunities for sports teams to welcome children (ages 5-18) of military members as honorary teammates. Some examples include: Deployments, Training Exercises, and Disaster Relief Efforts. These children are our primary focus. Our aim is to arrange memorable sporting experiences to help them and their families through those difficult times. Operation Teammate events also show the importance of children being involved throughout their local communities and guide them to understand that

9 P R O P O S A L T O T E A M S Operation Teammate pursues opportunities to team up with athletic organizations to create a memorable sporting experience between our children and the teams. This enables Operation Teammate to provide opportunities for military children to attend an experience unique to them. Some options include meet & greet time prior to a scheduled event and picture/autograph opportunities at the appropriate times. Also, this could be followed up by the execution of Pen Pal corresponding between select players and children of the military. Our organizational goals align with like-minded initiatives, and while incorporating the Operation Teammate mission within a team s community outreach program, it would establish that bridge between our families and various teams, resulting in Impactful Athlete Interaction!

12 I am currently deployed in Afghanistan and this program allowed all 3 of my kids to see first hand what being apart of collegiate team is like. I am thankful for those that gave their time and energy to set all this up.
