The integrated concepts, force protection requirements, and deployment methods for high-risk operations are covered in the course. Students must be aware of the emerging IED threat and have the ability to proficiently and safely react to this threat in a tactical environment. During tactical, high risk operations the students will be able to prevent undesired delay from potential explosive hazards. Reduce assault team exposure to explosive threats. And provide tactical commanders real-time (CBRNE) threat assessment and course of action for enhanced decision. Having an EOD operator on the assault team provides immediate and direct EOD support during tactical incidents. With ever-changing threats around the world the ability to address simultaneous complex threats is invaluable. COURSE OBJECTIVE: Upon Completion of this course, students will be trained in the following areas: Use of all EOD TTP in the tactical environment. How to maintain initiative and operational tempo Provide decision support for tactical command. COURSE LENGTH: 40 Hours TARGET AUDIENCE: Bomb Technicians 6 P a g e

IED-ELC-100: IED Energetic Disruption Course COURSE DESCRIPTION: The IED Energetic Disruption course introduces basic and advanced explosive tools and disruption methods for use against all IED types. Real world platform training will be conducted to ensure student knowledge of disruption principle and concepts. Challenging exercises involving minimal and restricted access to supporting equipment will test student ingenuity for C-IED charge design. This course will test student understanding of general disruption principals and concepts with the application and use of very small charges. Intermediate barrier problems and point disruption with barrel type disruptors will also be taught. Students will also practice advanced Explosive Ordnance Disposal Integrated Assault (EODIA) principles, concepts, and explosive counter- IED charges for use in tactical environments. COURSE OBJECTIVE: Upon Completion of this course, students will be trained in the following areas: Basic Electronics Circuit Building and Optimization Design and build a wide variety of devices currently used in theater. Advanced devices may include complex threats including CB. COURSE LENGTH: 40 Hours TARGET AUDIENCE: Bomb Technicians negotiate outside of contract 7 P a g e

PDPT-100: POINT DISRUPTION AND PRECISION TARGETING (PDPT) COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides a new methodology for the Bomb Technician dealing with Improvised Explosive Devices and Weapons of Mass Destruction. This procedure enables the technician to disable a device without contamination of an area from CBRNE materials as well as preserve evidence for forensic evaluation. A precise disablement procedure will be attained through incident evaluation, optional radiographic configurations/interpretation, and dynamic component separation with a percussion actuated disruptor. COURSE OBJECTIVE: Upon Completion of this course, students will be trained in the following areas: PTDM o Incident evaluation o Radiographic techniques o Component identification / target selection o Dynamic disablement and load selection Range Practical o Zero Disrupter and Aiming Laser o Perform Precision Targeting COURSE LENGTH: 24 Hours TARGET AUDIENCE: Bomb Technicians students 8 P a g e

EODXT-100: EOD X-RAY TARGETING COURSE DESCRIPTION: EODXT moves from bmb technician fundamentals to advanced tar getting to deliver simultaneous and multiple precision disruptions. These methods provide a a valuable tool for Bomb Technicians and Units for multiple complex problems and VBIED. COURSE OBJECTIVE: This course trains students to: Determine Object Depth in Container by: o Phase Shift, Perpendicular X-Ray and Known Reference Point Perform a dual precision shot with known depth of targets o Dual aim with sight system and perpendicular axis COURSE LENGTH: 16 Hours TARGET AUDIENCE: Bomb Squad Units at State, Local and Federal Level. 9 P a g e

IED-ELC-100: IED ELECTRONICS DESIGN AND DEFEAT COURSE DESCRIPTION: The EOD IED Electronics Design and Defeat course focus on the skills required to design, interpret, build and defeat electronic circuits currently being deployed domestically and abroad. The course starts with the basic knowledge of electronics principles and quickly advances as students use hands-on training to design and build circuits. Building on the fundamentals of what to look for and how to understand the internal electrical workings of IED circuits, students will be left with a solid foundation and understanding of electronics with which to aid in the defeat of advanced devices. COURSE OBJECTIVE: Upon Completion of this course, students will be trained in the following areas: Ohms Law, Electronic Components, Resistor color codes and basic circuit Solid state components and progressive combination of components in circuits and how to optimize them Design and build circuits currently in use in the IED arena Take readings in circuits to determine best possible render safe procedure COURSE LENGTH: 40 Hours TARGET AUDIENCE: Bomb Squad Units at State, Local and Federal Level. 10 P a g e

IED-CPT-100: IED COUNTER-PROLIFERATION TACTICS COURSE DESCRIPTION: The IEDCPT is a deep study analyzing the use of Explosive Terrorism and the core fundamentals to carry out Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attacks. Knowledge of this information will give student the physical and mental ability to track, analyze, and predict explosive terrorism. Students must be aware of the emerging IED threat and have the ability to proficiently and safely react to this threat in a tactical environment. Each student will be able to apply this knowledge in their areas of operation. Having the capability of mitigating the shooting threat and the explosive threat simultaneously in a tactical environment is the key to anti-terror operations. This course will instruct students with classroom and practical training on terrorist TTP and attack planning. This training will further enable students with knowledge and practical understanding of IED threat for assessment, analysis and decision support to bolster agency wide incident response. COURSE OBJECTIVE: Upon Completion of this course, students will be trained in the following areas:d Analysis of Explosive Terrorism with focus on decision support for integrated incident response. Enhanced safety in reaction to explosive threat Improved assessment and analysis of IED threat for integrated response and tactical environment. Communication protocol for elements of incident response to further reduce hazard. COURSE LENGTH: 40 Hours TARGET AUDIENCE: 1 st Responders, Command personnel, Intelligence Unit personnel and Specialized Response. RECOMMENDED CLASS SIZE: 20 students 11 P a g e

IED-ELC-100: IED Device Building Electronics for Training COURSE DESCRIPTION: The IED Device Building Electronics for Training course focuses on the skills required to design and build training devices in support of Bomb Technician and related agency training. This course will also serve to reinforce related training and concepts for the defeat of IED devices. This course starts with basic knowledge of electronics and quickly integrates the practical construction of basic-to-advanced devices for training. This course will act to reduce agency training costs by enabling Bomb Technicians to construct training devices for agency purposes. COURSE OBJECTIVE: Upon Completion of this course, students will be trained in the following areas: Basic Electronics Circuit Building and Optimization Design and build a wide variety of devices currently used in theater. Advanced devices may include complex threats including CB. COURSE LENGTH: 40 Hours TARGET AUDIENCE: Bomb Squad Units at State, Local and Federal Level. 12 P a g e

- Recognise, React and Report Course COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Program is an agency-wide solution for explosive threat awareness. The Recognize-React-Report method provides simple guidelines and response to IED threats and explosive hazards for your agency members. This course will enable students with increased situational awareness for current and IED threat and the capability to proficiently and safely react to explosive threats.
