A SMP meeting was held on 12 July 2018 at Del Mar Marina. HM1 Loaiza called the meeting to order at List of those in attendance is provided on the sign in sheet (attachment 1). 2. Mr. Jaenichen - Bachelor Housing On base we currently have Devil pups, ROTC, Reservist in 22 Area and 14 Area, There is no A/C in the barracks, these are not allowed as the barracks can t handle that much electricity. Please do not try to sneak A/C units. Remember to turn off ALL electronics when leaving barracks rooms 14 Area has had broken locks for 9 months. Jay Jaenichen is being contacted on this matter. July BEQ Managers Course contact Jay Jaenichen at (760) Be sure to secure your rooms, there is a lot of theft occurring in the barracks 5. Mr. Chris Massari Facilities Maintenance Division There will be demolition of buildings in 33 Area Address and report barrack issues to BEQ Managers and request confirmation (work order number). Track progress of pending work orders. Emergency Service Line (760) Emergency concerns: health, life, or safety. Self Help Program (760) , Sgt Hernandez. Self Help Program for any minor damages that can be fixed on own by Marines, such as changing lightbulbs, painting, wall patching. Call (760) All recycling goes into the white bins behind the barracks Washer and Dryer problems call (760) FMS Customer service (760) Ms. Ann Smith, Del Mar Manager Sailboat rentals, power boat rentals, kayak & paddleboard rentals, etc Youth and Adult Sailing classes. Basic Sailing Class Dates: Jul & 15, Jul & Aug 05, and Sep Intermediate sailing: Aug & Youth Basic Summer classes: Jul 10-13, Jul 17-20, and Jul Youth Advanced class: Aug Slips for privately owned boats: The Marina has 47 rental slips from with two end ties also two moorings 32 max. Slip Rental fee $10.25/per ft. 7. Mr. Chip Dykes, Pacific Marine Credit Union Pacific Marine Credit Union provides financial education seminars to its military members. These seminars will foster effective financial management skills and enhance quality of life. PMCU also is a financial sponsor of Single Marine Program. Departure of 0700 from Semper Fit HQ Bldg $10.00 covers fishing license, bait, fishing poles, transportation and lunch. Please wear closed-toed shoes. 07/13 Water Park Grab your trunks, bathing suits, sunblock and adventurous spirit to hit the slides and pools at the water park! Departure of 0900 from Semper Fit HQ Bldg $20.00 cover transportation and admission into the park. 15 Newsletter July 2018 Advanced registration is required for all SMP trips, events & volunteer opportunities. Program events are open only to single Marine and Sailors stationed on Camp Pendleton. Participants who volunteer must register in advance with SMP HQ in order to receive a letter of appreciation. Volunteers must provide their own transportation except for PE fitness Challenge. A signed command permission slip is required for all SMP activities. All activities depart from Semper Fit Headquarters Bldg Unless otherwise stated and require that participants utilize the provided transportation. Charlies are the requested uniform for these events. Max of 6-10 volunteers needed for each opportunity. Uniform of the day is civilian attire. Closed toed shoes are required. A maximum of 10 participants are needed for this opportunity. Participants must sign up prior to the event. Bring water! 07/ CDC Olympics Volunteers will host a two-hour fitness challenge at an on-base child development center.
