7 REVISED STATEMENT OF TRAINING (SoT) FORM (May11) AAFC.22 LR LIVE-FIRE ACTIVITIES CADETONE SUBMISSIONS A revised one A4-sized page Statement of Training (SoT) v2.2 form to be used by all AAFC units seeking approval for live-fire.22 LR activities. It replaces the current form and can be downloaded together with explanatory notes from the AAFC Resource Centre [GTD -> Firearms]. 35. The new e-form is designed to be completed electronically, saved and then attached/uploaded with a unit s CadetOne Activity approval submission. Units will need the PDF Adobe Reader program (free download Windows or Mac OS X versions available), the full Adobe Acrobat program - or some other computer program compatible with PDF e-form input. 36. Information capturing has been revised with unnecessary information removed and only essential information added. In short, there has been a net reduction in the information required. Sections in the previous form like ordering.22 LR ammunition from the RAAF is now a separate process initiated through AFLOs, and is no longer part of the SoT process. 37. The new SoT can be uploaded as a pdf (not a.jpeg or similar) into CadetOne via the OA86 as a separate file in its own right. Do not scan the form after completion. This is unnecessary and leads to large file sizes for upload. The form is designed to be saved as pdf and used repeatedly as a pdf. 38. Units which have already uploaded a.22 LR live-fire activity approval submission into CadetOne do not need to resubmit with the new SoT. The old form will continue to be accepted for an interim period. However units which are still in the planning stages should adopt the revised (v2.2) e-form ASAP. Old SoT forms used for new submissions will no longer be accepted after 01 Jun Please note a SoT is required for endorsement by ADFP(22) of.22 LR activities. The SoT provides a succinct, readily accessible compilation of essential information relevant to the safe conduct of a live-fire.22 LR activity, in addition to the RAMP and JI, IAW with the CadetOne Activity Management SOPs. No SoT, no endorsement. 40. Enquiries or problems can be directed to ADFP(22), FLTLT(AAFC) Colin Palmer at adfp.22.gtd@aafc.org.au or on mobile B.
