All applicants must submit the CCME Military Personnel Scholarship Application or the CCME Military Spouse Scholarship Application. American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students $2,000 Deadline November 1 Applicant must be a member of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion and shall have paid dues for the two preceding years and for the calendar year in which application is made. Student has to of had at least one year of college and is in need of financial assistance to pursue an undergraduate degree. Deadline 1 March. The AFCEA Educational Foundation has six general categories of scholarships available for undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled and attending full time at four-year-colleges of universities in the United States. Deadline 20 April.

Army Nurse Corps Association $3,000 Horatio Alger Military Veterans Scholarship $5, m/horatio_alger_military_veterans_sc holarship.htm Students currently enrolled in an degree nursing or nurse anesthesia program who: Are serving or have previously served in any branch, and Are not currently receiving funding by a component of the US Army, (e.g., scholarship ROTC students and students receiving full GI Bill benefits are not eligible); and, Honorable Discharge. Nursing or anesthesia students whose parent(s), spouse, or child(ren) is serving or has served in a component of the US Army. Deadline 31 March Awarded to Veterans who have served under the United States Military Operation in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan or Operation Iraqi Freedom beginning Sept. 11, 2001 or later. Deadline 1 February.

The VFW s Military Scholarship program provides scholarships annually to VFW members who are currently serving in uniform or active, guard/reserve. Deadline Spring 30 April/ Fall 15 November. Rockwell Collins provides $2,500 scholarships to student veterans currently attending a community college. To be eligible students need to be enrolled in a certificate or associates granting program at an accredited institution of higher education, Must attend a two-year institution, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, submit proof of military service (DD214), and submit proof of enrollment in an accredited U.S. institution of higher education March 15, 2018 Student Veterans of America and NBC Universal have partnered to distribute 2, $12,000 scholarships to any eligible student veterans. In order to be eligible the student must be in pursuit of an Associates, Bachelors, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution of higher education and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Deadline 10 April To support educational opportunities for Veteran/Active Service Members and their spouses. Intended to cover direct study-related expenses such as tuition, fees, and books, as well as other needs such as room and board and child care. Deadline 1 March.
5 5 Disabled Veteran Scholarship Feldman Law $1, NBC Universal - SVA Scholarship $12,000 y.com/disabled-veteran-scholarship scholarships?layout=edit&id=706 Applicants do not have to be enrolled in a school at the time they submit their application. We do require, however, that the scholarship funds be used within a year after the date on which it is awarded. The winning applicant will provide us with a tuition invoice from the educational institution he or she has chosen, and we will pay $1,000 directly to the school.in order to apply for the scholarship, you must be a veteran of any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States. You must also have a disability rating of 30% or higher. Deadline 5 February Current student with a 3.0 GPA or higher and proof of service. Candidates must be majoring in the following or related fields: electrical, aerospace, systems or computer engineering, computer engineering technology, computer information systems, information systems management, computer science, physics, mathematics, or science or mathematics education. Deadline 13 April This Foundation currently provide scholarship funds to assists in the scholarship award process. Applications are accepted for the Betty Stevens-Frecknall Scholarship, the Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship, and the William R. Reaugh Scholarship Open January 1 st and May 31 st each year Army Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Scholarships Army Scholarship Foundation $500-$2000 Branch Specific Scholarships on.org/apply.html For college-level education of members of the AAAA, and the spouses, unmarried siblings, unmarried children and unmarried grandchildren of current and deceased AAAA members. Deadline 2 January Air Force Air Force Aid Society General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program $500- $4,000 Provides need based grants to selected sons and daughters of active duty, Title 10 AGR/Reserve, Title 32 AGR performing full-time active duty, retired, retired reserve and deceased Air Force members; spouses (stateside) of active duty members and Title 10 AGR/Reservists; and surviving spouses of deceased personnel for their undergraduate studies. Deadline 10 March Marine Corps Marine Corps League - Scholarship Program $6,000 - $40,000 Active duty, reserve, veteran U.S. Marine, also children of fallen/injured marines. AGI below $96,000. Navy Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund Dolphin Scholarship Foundation $2,000- $3,400 Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation $3, ips/ For qualified family members of Chief Petty Officers including spouses and children (natural born, adopted or stepchildren). Deadline 1 May Grants are available, on a competitive basis, to high school or college children/stepchildren (unmarried, under age 24 at time of deadline) of: (1) members or former members of the Submarine Force who have qualified in submarines and have served in the Submarine Force for at least eight years; or of (2) Navy members who have served in submarine support activities (e.g., submarine bases, tenders, and rescue vessels) for a minimum of ten years. Deadline 23 January To provide college scholarships to dependent children and spouses of all US Navy - officer and enlisted - active duty, retired or deceased who served within Naval Air Forces. Recipients are selected on the basis of scholastic merit and community service. Prequalification (eligibility) 1 February. Tailhook Education Foundation $2,000- $10, html#sch-apps-2017 To be eligible for consideration for a Tailhook Educational Foundation scholarship, an individual must be a high school graduate and the natural, step, or adopted son, daughter or grandchild of a current or former
9 9 (U.S. Navy / U.S. Marine Corps / U.S. Coast Guard) Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, or Naval Aircrewman. Also eligible are individuals or children/grandchildren of individuals who are serving or have served on board a U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier in ship's company or an embarked staff. Eligible applicants must be accepted for undergraduate enrollment at an accredited college. Deadline 1 March Military Family Members Scholarships Anchor Scholarship Foundation $2,000 Folds of Honor Foundation $5, scholarships/ The Anchor Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to eligible family members (children and spouses) of active duty, retired or honorably discharged Surface Navy personnel. Anchor Scholarships MUST be applied to tuition and tuition related expenses only. Dependent children must be pursuing a 4-year degree (BA or BS) at a 4-year college or university in the United States. Dependent spouses may be pursuing an Associates, BA or BS at a 2 or 4-year college or university in the United States. Deadline October Folds of Honor Foundation (FHF) provides post-secondary educational scholarships to the spouses and children of service members disabled or killed as a result of their military service. Can

Scholarships for Military Children American Legion Legacy Scholarship Up to $10,000 AMVETS Scholarship $1,000- $12,000 Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation $32, Available for children or legally adopted children of active duty U.S. Military and Guard, and Reserve personnel who were federalized and died on active duty on or after September 11, Available to financially assist Veterans, Active, Guard/Reserve, or Dependents who have exhausted government aid, or who might not otherwise have the financial means to continue their education. Deadline 30 April Providing college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in combat or accidents. Our
12 12 Fisher House Foundation Scholarship Program $500- $2,000 Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund Heroes Legacy Scholarship Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant Up to $5, vision is that every such child can have a debt-free college education. Open to sons and daughters of active duty, reserve/guard, or retired military commissary customers. Opens Mid December Students are eligible if they are the dependent child of an active duty Service Member who was killed or permanently disabled (100%) rating as the result of an operational mission or training accident, or who is currently certified as POW or MIA. Open to dependent unmarried children under the age of 23, of those who have died or have become disabled through their active military service on or after September 11, Opens mid December A student who is not eligible for a Pell Grant but whose parent or guardian was a member of the U.S. Armed Forces and died as a result of service performed in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2001 may be eligible to receive the Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant. Enrolled in college at least parttime at the time of the

Scholarship for daughters or granddaughters of career warrant or commissioned officer in the U.S. Army who is on active duty; retired from active duty after 20 years of service; medically retired before 20 years of active service; died while on active duty or died after retiring from active duty. Includes Tuition, counseling, advocacy, and immediate $5,000 award for severely wounded Special Forces members. Army Emergency Relief $500- $2,900 Heroes Tribute Scholarship Children of the Fallen or Wounded Up to $40,000 Colona Scholarship $4,000 Keller Scholarship $ Children and Spouses of military members. Interest Free Loans, Grants,& Scholarships for Soldiers, Retirees, & Families. Opens 1 January This program provides up to $40,000 in scholarship support to children of fallen or wounded Marines and Navy Corpsmen Dependent child of AD, Retired, or veteran U.S. Coast Guard member. Current high school seniors with a C average or above. Deadline 1 June Dependent child of a Chief Warrant and Warrant Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. Current high school senior with a C average or better. Deadline March 15
15 15 Military Child of the Year $10,000 + gifts Navy League Foundation $2,500- $20, Operation Homefront's annual awards recognize six outstanding young people ages 8 to 18. Each of them represent a branch of the armed forces for their scholarship, volunteerism, leadership, extracurricular involvement, and other criteria while facing the challenges of military family life. There is a seventh award for a young person age This award is the Military Child of the Year Award for Innovation The Navy League Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors who will attend college in the fall. Navy League Foundation Scholarships are available only to children and grandchildren of former members of the Sea Services and those currently serving as well as members of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps.
