1 British Motorised Scout Platoon BRITISH MOTORISED SCOUT PLATOON All models in a British Motorised Scout Platoon benefit from the following special rules as described on page 162 of the RoE rulebook: Stubborn Tactically Flexible Elite: The player may wish to field a platoon from an elite regiment. All troops have a Discipline score of 3+ instead of 4+. The Platoon has a Combat Effectiveness of 16. Strategy Rating: 4 Combat Effectiveness: 14 A platoon must include a Platoon Command and at least 2 Infantry Sections A platoon may include 1 Divisional Support choice A platoon may include 1 Company Support choice for each of its Infantry/Platoon Command Section Additional Equipment The Lieutenant may distribute the additional equipment amongst the Platoon as detailed on page 162 of the RoE rulebook. The number of Requisition Points is equal to the Combat Effectiveness of the force.
2 BRITISH MOTORISED SCOUT PLATOON Order of Battle PLATOON COMMAND A British Motorised Scout Platoon must include a Platoon Command Section. PLATOON COMMAND 1 1st Lieutenant 20cm Pistol Officer 20cm 1 Corporal 20cm Riflemen 20cm Bren Gun 1 Driver 20cm Sten Gun, One Rifleman may be upgraded to a Medic (see General Special Rules on page 39). Medics are armed with a pistol. The squad is mounted in a Universal Carrier. PLATOON 2IC 1 2nd Lieutenant 20cm Pistol Officer 20cm 1 Riflemen 20cm Bren Gun 1 Driver 20cm Sten Gun, The 2iC operates as a totally independent unit from the Platoon Command. May add an batman who acts as a rifleman armed with SMLE and and a Sergeant armed with SMLE and AP/AT Grenades (+1 Support Points). The squad is mounted in a Universal Carrier.
3 MOTORISED SCOUT PLATOON A British Motorised Scout Platoon must include at least 2 Infantry Sections. First Group 1 Sergeant 20cm Sten Gun or SMLE and AP Grenades 1 Rifleman 20cm SMLE, Second Group 1 Corporal 20cm May exchange Bren Gun for a PIAT. Third Group 1 Lance Corporal 20cm May also include a 2 mortar. For +1 Support Point, the second and third groups may add a rifleman and an orderly (both armed with SMLE and ). One orderly may be upgraded to a Medic (see General Special Rules on page 39). Medics are armed with a pistol. One section may be upgraded to a Recon section (free) with the Recon special rule. Furher sections may be upgraded to a Recon section for +1 Support Point).
4 BRITISH MOTORISED SCOUT PLATOON A British Motorised Scout Platoon may select up to 1 additional Infantry Section. UP TO 1 ADDITIONAL (+4 SUPPORT POINTS) First Group 1 Sergeant 20cm Sten Gun or SMLE and AP Grenades 1 Rifleman 20cm SMLE, Second Group 1 Corporal 20cm May exchange Bren Gun for a PIAT. Third Group 1 Lance Corporal 20cm May also include a 2 mortar. May be upgraded to a Recon section (+1 Support Point) with the Recon special rule. COMPANY SUPPORT A British Motorised Scout Platoon may select one Company Support choice for each Rifle Section. UP TO 1 SNIPER TEAM 1 Sniper 20cm Scoped SMLE Sniper Team, 1 Assistant 20cm SMLE Fanatic (2) Note that the sniper team may hitch a lift with a section or is assumed to have travelled on motorcycles.

UP TO 1 LIGHT MACHINE GUN TEAM 1 Corporal 20cm Sten Gun 1 Rifleman 20cm SMLE 1 Driver 20cm SMLE Observer DIVISIONAL SUPPORT A British Motorised Scout Platoon may select one Divisional Support choice. Divisional Support is selected from the section on page 185 of the RoE rulebook. May only select the following: Artillery, Humber Armoured Cars, M5 Stuart.
