1 NET SCRIPT JULY 12, 2018 SEVIER COUNTY EMERGENCY RADIO SERVICE SEVIER County, TN **BEFORE THE NET**Read thru this script. **Learn who this weeks and next week s NET CONTROL & CHECK IN COUNTER are. **Make a note of the next third Thursday date for the meeting. **Call the net on time at EXACTLY 1930 hours, local time Calling the SEVIER County Emergency Radio Service and RACES Net. This is (your name, and your call sign), I am your Net Control Station. For tonight s Net I will be using THE CLUB CALLSIGN. KM4LIO (Give your call in phonetics.) **USE STANDARD (ICAO) PHONETICS WITH YOUR NAME** This is a directed net that meets every Monday evening at 1930 hours (7:30
2 p.m. local time) on this Repeater. In the event, that our main repeater is down, we will switch over to the alternate repeater, The purpose of this net is to demonstrate readiness for emergency communications and to poll our Sevier County emergency radio service and RACES members. Sevier County Emergency Radio Service and RACES works with the Sevier County Emergency Management Agency and the served agencies in Sevier County. We provide communications for the served agencies in Sevier County in times of emergency, drills, and events as requested. We will also work with other agencies as requested by the Sevier County EMA director. Our highly trained members are committed to helping in emergency communications. **BREAK TO RESET REPEATER TIMER** We will handle any emergency traffic at this time.
