2 - 1 UNIT FUNCTION TABLE IDENTIFICATION COMBAT MOVEMENT This section contains the short title and ID number of each unit of each nationality. a. ATTACK STRENGTH this subsection highlights the attack strength the unit has to attack with. b. ATTACK AS this subsection highlights the type of attack strength the unit has to attack with. c. RANGE this subsection highlights the maximum range the unit can to attack at. d. DEFENSE STRENGTH this subsection highlights the type of defense strength the unit has to attack with. e. DEFEND AS this subsection highlights the type of defence strength the unit has to defend with. f. HULL DOWN this subsection indicates the die roll modification the unit receives based on the hull down rules section. g. ATTACK MODES this subsection indicates the possible attack modes of a unit. There are several; Direct Fire, Opportunity Fire, Indirect Fire, Overrun Attack, Close Assault Tactics, Mounted Infantry Fire and Smoke Shell Concentration. h. MOVE this subsection details the number of movement points the unit has to movement with. Regardless of movement points, a unit that has a movement allowance greater than zero may move one unit of measurement regardless of terrain unless the terrain is prohibited to the unit type. Command Posts and Observation Posts have a movement in terms of slashes. For example 3/5/10; this means that the movement is dependent on the type of vehicle model on the stand; 3 movement points for a stand with no vehicle model (foot borne), 5 for a stand with a horse or wagon model (horse borne); and 10 for a stand with a motorized vehicle on the stand (Mechanized borne). If only two values are present then it is foot/mechanized options only. i. MOVE TYPE this subsection has 4 types based on the TEC; TO or towed for units
3 ADVANCED - 2 with zero movement allowance, AO or All Others for units with full or half track capability, P or Personnel for units moved by foot or horse, and; W or Wheeled for vehicles and horse drawn vehicles who move via wheels. j. PASS this subsection highlights units that are passenger capable with an X meaning the unit can become a passenger and a C meaning the unit can carry passengers inside. k. QM this subsection indicates those units, which have the capability of Infantry Quick March. l. SMF this subsection indicates those units, which are capable of Spit Move and Fire with an X meaning they have the capability and an F meaning they have a Fixed Gun. m. AMPH this subsection indicates those units, which are amphibious capable units with an X meaning they are surface amphibians and an S meaning they are sub-surface amphibians (using snorkel). n. CPP this subsection indicates those wheeled (W) units that are restricted in their cross-country movement capability. o. ENGR this subsection highlights those units that have engineer capabilities. p. FOF this subsection highlights those units, which have a restriction on their field of fire. q. NOTES this subsection indicates any special notes as discussed below: 1. Amphibious unit on the surface (duplex drive). 2. Amphibious unit on bottom (snorkeling). 3. Has an ATGW weapon as a secondary weapon. Wire Guided attack must be resolved first. 4. May fire as A or AA class weapon as required. May fire at aircraft in Air Phase if 5. May fire as I or AA class weapon as required. May fire at aircraft in Air Phase if 6. May fire as H or AA class weapon as required. May fire at aircraft in Air Phase if 7. Two defence values: the first is through the front 180 degrees, the second is the rear 180 degrees. 8. Gains 1 movement point when traveling downhill for all 3 movement points. 9. Smoke in adjacent to unit only. 10. Smoke in location in weapon range. 11. Bail Out howitzer with at Ammo only. This gun is part of AT Brigades and cannot fire
