1 3 rd Infantry Division Soldiers Ball Jekyll Island Convention Center November 18, 2016 Ticket Purchasing Instructions Participants wanting to purchase tickets to the 3 rd Infantry Division Soldiers Ball, can do so by accessing The Society of the 3 rd Infantry Divisions website at At the website click on the menu at the top of the page, 3 rd ID Soldiers Ball. On the Event Registration screen, the registration events will be listed by unit under Event. Soldiers should use their primary unit when registering for the ball. On the right hand side, it will show how many have registered and the number of tickets available. Units will be group as follows: MP, 92 EN, 82 CA, 83 CBRN, & 63 ESB - 48 IBCT & USAG

2 - DHHB - DIVARTY - 1 ABCT - 2 IBCT - 3 CAB & 3 SB - Retiree s, DA Civilians - Contractors and Non-Affiliated Civilians - Open Seating The unit designations will be under the Event title on this screen. Individual or Group Registration The next screen will ask the user if they are registering as an individual or group. - Individual: To purchase only one ticket. - Group: To purchase two or more tickets. Registration The next screen shows the information the person will enter to purchase their ticket. When purchasing a ticket, please use the soldiers primary rank when selecting rank. If the soldier is purchasing a ticket for a spouse or guest, they will use the primary soldiers rank in the Rank selection box. Example, an E5 will use his rank when purchasing multiple tickets for his guest. If an E5 is purchasing tickets for another soldier, they will use the other soldiers rank when making the purchase. Retirees will use the rank at the time of their retirement.

3 Selection by Rank Ranks are distinguished by Enlisted, Officer, Warrant Officer, GS or Civilian. The purchaser will select the field based on the primary soldier. Selection of Rank The selection is based on the soldiers rank at the time of registration. Enlisted: E1 to E9 Officers: O1 to O10 Warrant Officer: W1 to CW5 GS or Civilian: GS1 to GS15 and Civilian.

4 After selecting Rank and the specific rank of the soldier, Your total Registration cost will appear showing the cost of the first members ticket. For each additional ticket selected, the total will change to reflect the updated cost. If an E2 soldier is registering 2 people, the total on the second member s information will update to $ Selecting a Table After entering their rank, they will select a table. Table assignments are based on the individual units. Head and/or reserved tables will not appear in this box. Soldiers can click on the link Jekyll Island Convention Center Floor Plan to see the seating chart. It will open in another window and can be closed to return to the registration screen.

5 Completing the registration Soldiers will enter the rest of the information based on the primary soldier. Fields with an asterisk (*) are required. In Group registration, click on Add Member to enter the information for a spouse or guest or multiple tickets. Once they have entered in all the tickets they are wanting to purchase, they will click on Complete Group for the next step. Billing Screen This screen will display each member registered during this transaction. The soldier will enter the billing information in the fields. Please note, the Security Code must be entered and will be different for each transaction. When completed the information, click Next Step.

6 Confirmation Screen This will display all the information entered for this transaction just prior to making payment. If there are multiple registrations, each will be listed here. Please note, use the navigation buttons (in green) to go back. Using the navigation buttons on the browser will not work. When hitting next step, the registration will be directed to the Society s PayPal account. Making Payment Once at the PayPal screen, they can use either their PayPal account (if they have one) or can use Pay with Debit or Credit Card. You don t have to have a PayPal account to make the payment.

7 Please note: Once payment confirmation is received, tickets will be sent via to the address entered during the registration process. It is recommended to check your Spam folder if tickets are not received in the Inbox. Registrations that are not paid are considered not complete and the registration process will have to be redone.
