WORK AUTHORIZATION AFFIDAVIT: Pursuant to RSMo (1), by its sworn affidavit, the successful contractor will be required to affirm its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with the contracted services and that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien in connection with the contracted services. AWARD Cass County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any response technicalities or irregularities. 2 Contractor Specifications Insurance The successful Contractor, at its own expense, will be required to provide certificates for Comprehensive General Liability and Worker s Compensation naming Cass County as an additional insured, in the following amounts: Commercial General Liability Coverage shall be provided in the aggregate amount of not less than $1,000,000 for all claims arising out of a single accident or occurrence and $500,000 for any one person in a single accident of occurrence; Worker s Compensation coverage shall be no less than the statutory minimum. Certifications The contractor must have certification and authorization to perform service and be an authorized dealer on all current and future software and hardware to include but not limited to: Andover; Wonderware; Sensormatic; Harding Instruments; GE Fanuc and DVTel. Sub-Contracting No Sub-Contracting will be permitted. Personnel/Employees Background All personnel or employees of the Contractor are required to pass a criminal history background as required by the State of Missouri to be in proximity to criminal data base systems (MULES and NCIC). In the event that personnel or employees of the Contractor are found to be in violation of this requirement, the Contractor will be required to refund the total contractual amount and reimburse Cass County, MO for the expense of the bid process and associated costs, to include advertisement and legal review. Incident Response In the event of an incident requiring a response for service, the Contractor must have a maximum 90 minute, on-site, response time. Criminal Prosecution Contractor s employees are subject to Criminal Prosecution if contraband is brought into any portion of the Justice Center s secured areas, such as: Jail, Juvenile Detention Center; or Court Holding Cells. Contraband is defined as any object or item prohibited in any of the secured areas by rule, policy or law to include tobacco, narcotics, weapons, etc.

3 Non-Disclosure Contractors will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure as the Justice Center is a secure facility. The Contractor and all personnel/employees are bound by this Non-Disclosure. Violation of the non-disclosure will result in civil proceedings and immediate removal from the Cass County Justice Center as well as termination of services and a refund of all monies paid to the contractor by Cass County, MO. Site Visits Upon Request Contractors may request a Pre-Bid site visit where a Non-Disclosure statement will be signed. No cameras or video recording will be allowed as it will entail a tour of the facility and entry into secure areas. Contractor Minimum Experience Contractors must have a minimum of five(5) years of experience of Electronic Control Systems in Jails, Detention, or Corrections facilities.
