6 A modified version of the Wyvern (the barbed tail has been replaced by a shark tail and a short sword inserted in the right claw) above a boomerang bearing the motto FESTINA LENTE (HASTEN SLOWLY). Various parts of the two-legged dragon represent the headquarters capabilities: the wings for airborne operations, the shark tail for water operations, the two legs for land and the flaming tongue and sharpened claws represent an offensive capability. The sword is representative of the Special Forces regiments. 17 The Emblem of the Former Materiel Division An anvil backed by a pair of crossed broad swords; above, six cannon balls and, below, two scrolls (bearing the Division s title) and a boomerang (bearing the name Army Headquarters). The swords, ammunition and anvil represent the fighting and logistic stores that the Division was responsible for procuring.
