1 Category D and C Project Codes Effective: 24 July 2017 Project codes are used for the purpose of distinguishing requisitions and related documentation and shipments, as well as for the accumulation of intra-service performance and cost data related to exercises, maneuvers, and other distinct programs, projects, and operations. Category D Project Codes are assigned for use by the Office of the Secretary of Defense/Chief, Joint Chiefs of Staff, while Category C Project Codes are common purpose Project Codes for use by all or specified Components. 4 CATEGORY C 3-SERIES, COMMON USE, PROJECT CODES CODE USE/REFERENCE MONITOR/COORDINATOR 3AA Used by Service activities to identify requisitions submitted to DOD MILSTRIP Administrator obtain issues to satisfy PWRMS deficiencies. Project code Comm may be entered in either funded or unfunded requisitions. (See DLM ) except B, D, K, P, and T 3AB Used for requisition of reparable items for induction to a DOD MILSTRIP Administrator designated repair activity for repair and return to an end user Comm as directed under existing agreements including Depot except B, D, Maintenance Inter-Service Agreement (DMISA). DAAS will K, P, and T use the RIC-TO to pass the requisitions to the activity indicated 3AC Used for materiel returns to the PICA under an NIMSC 5 or 6. 7 3JC FOR USE IN SUPPORT OF FRANCE AND CHAD FOR OPERATION JUIPER MICRON (OJM). THIS PROJECT CODE APPLIES TO ALL CLASSES OF SUPPLY. THIS PROJECT CODE MAY NOT BE USED BY FOREIGN COUNTRIES. SERVICE CODES: ALL MONITOR/COORDINATOR: JOINT STAFF/J4 COMM: DSN: JI For use by the Military Services and DOD Agencies for delivery of drawdown equipment to Libyan Opposition Forces. In a non-lethal support role, the purpose of this Project Code is to provide excess equipment to the Libyan Opposition Forces. Not applicable to foreign countries. This Project Code applies to all Classes of Supply. (Refer to Execute Order One (PD for guidance on use of this Project Code.) 3JP Assigned for use by the services, DoD and federal agencies that are retrograding material from the CENTCOM theater to CONUS locations for return to DoD or service-owned stocks. Funding associated with this project code is the responsibility of the user. 3JU For use by Military Services and DoD Agencies providing support for humanitarian assistance/ disaster relief (HA/DR) operations in the PACOM area. Not applicable to foreign countries. 3LN Used to identify requirements and related documents pertaining to support of United Nations interim forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL). 3LP Used to identify requirements and related documents pertaining to support of UNDOF. 3LQ Used to identify requirements and related documents pertaining to support of UNTSO. 3LU Used to identify requirements and related documents pertaining to support of UNPF. 3MA Used to track critical resupply to israel during contingency operations. 3ML Used to identify requirements and related documents in support of the multinational peacekeeping force in Lebanon. 7

8 3OZ Established for Ozone Depleting Substance (ODS) when the DSCR-VO ODS Program Office or depot initiates the repair, cleaning or COMM other task performed to maintain the stock. 3PR Used to identify replenishment PWRMS requisitions. It is DOD MILSTRIP Administrator also used to identify excess situations. Comm (See DLM ) 3QQ Item is excess to requirements as a result of pending DOD MILSTRIP Administrator installation closure. Item has been identified on the Comm preliminary list of "related personal property" to be (See DLM ) transferred to the local Community at the time of installation closure under the provisions of DoDD (reference (ii)). Do not direct return to stock unless the item is required to meet an AFAO and/or approved PWRRs. 3R1 Support to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Consequence Management Response Force (CCMRF) pre-deployment requirements (specific Defense Support of Civil Authorities(DSCA)/Homeland Defense (HLD) operation TBD) 3R2 Support to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Consequence Management Response Force (CCMRF) operations during assigned Defense Support to Civil Authorities and Homeland Defense missions (specific Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA)/ Homeland Defense (HLD) operation TBD) (Not applicable to pre or postdeployment requirements) 3R3 Support to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Consequence Management Response Force (CCMRF) post-deployment requirements (specific Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA)/ Homeland Defense (HLD) operation TBD) 3RD Used to identify all MILSTRIP documentation related to the RDF. This code will aid the monitoring of all supply and transportation actions related to deployed RDF units in rapid response situations. 3RF To identify all MILSTRIP documentation related to IPSS in support of deployed RDF units. This code identifies a requisition that is to be processed for surface transportation by the CCP. 3RN Pre-Mobilization Requisitions for Training Base Requirements.
