The following includes the Command Master Religious Program (CMRP) for the 316 th Cavalry Brigade and its subordinate units for Fiscal Year The CMRP is consistent with the Chief of Chaplain s goals and objectives; AR 165-1, Chaplain Activities in the Army and the BDE Commander s Religious Support Plan. 2. This CMRP is a planning document that delineates Chaplain activities and essential resources for implementing a comprehensive and flexible religious support program for the Soldiers and Families of the BDE. 3. The attached document includes projected costs for continuous religious support. 4. I have respectfully submitted the CMRP below for your approval. 5. 3 DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY HEADQUARTERS, 316 TH CAVALRY BRIGADE TH ARMORED REGIMENT ROAD, BUILDING 5118 FORT BENNING, GEORGIA REPLY TO ATTENTION OF ATZK-SBZ 28 April 2014 MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD SUBJECT: Command Master Religious Plan FY The attached Command Master Religious Plan (CMRP) for fiscal year 2015 outlines requirements to meet the religious, spiritual and ethical needs of our Soldiers, DA Civilians and Family members. This CMRP outlines programs for our Brigade and supports command objectives and priorities. It is consistent with the Chief of Chaplain s goals, objectives, and AR 165-1, Chaplain Activities in the United States Army. 2. Spiritual Resilience is a vital part of ensuring our Soldiers and Families succeed in their relationships and profession. The recommended CMRP will provide the necessary funding to build spiritually resilient Soldiers and Families that can deal with the stress placed on them by the nature of our mission as the 316 th Cavalry Brigade. 3. This CMRP is specific and yet flexible. It is designed to ensure that our Chaplains have proper funding to plan and execute a successful plan for Religious Support. 4. This is my program to serve the Brigade family and to all who benefit from their dedication and duty to the Army. Pending the availability of Appropriated Funds (APF), I fully support and approve the attached CMRP for a total of $19,800 from my FY15 budget. The BDE XO and S4 will manage the Brigade s funds for these programs in accordance with the priorities of the Brigade METL and my Command philosophy. 5.
