18 Guidance Document Status IMT IMT Academy (ERT developed) two two-week week academy-style training program including position- specific team (420) training 12 personnel trained from each region by 12/04 Model IMT plan being developed using the IMAT document IMAT to be defined/developed at a later date

19 Applying ICS to ALL Response Operations Will vary with the significance and size of the incident Type 1 and Type 2 Incidents in the fire service classification system are equivalent to EPA Nationally Significant Incidents, which require national mobilization Type 3: Regionally Significant Incidents, involving multiple jurisdictions and a unified command

20 Applying ICS to ALL Response Operations Type 4: Significant EPA-managed incidents and sites, with limited interagency coordination (e.g., large removal actions) Type 5: Routine or small incidents typically managed by one OSC with contractor support, without significant involvement of other agencies.
