Most, if not all, of the orders in these volumes can be found in their original form in the series of General Orders in RG 8, "C" Series, Volumes C C1194 F. The orders are arranged chronologically. Volume General Orders. Nova Scotia, These orders are similar in nature form, origin and organization to those in volumes Beginning in October 1846 there is a separate series for New - Brunswick. Volumes General Orders, Canada This series does not appear to have been prepared in as selective a manner as volumes 268, 269, and 289. It seems to contain copies of most, if not all of the general orders which are to be found in RG 8, "C" Series. Volume C C1177. The arrangement is basically chronological although in some cases the volumes overlap.
