Copies of the draft Amendment to the Transit TIP may be reviewed at: Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission (CSPDC), 112 MacTanly Place, Staunton, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Staunton City Manager s Office, 116 W Beverley Street, Staunton, Waynesboro City Manager s Office, 503 W Main Street, Waynesboro. The proposed amendment may also be accessed online at: or call for a digital copy. The public is invited to review the proposed Amendment to the Transit TIP and offer written comments by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014, to SAWMPO Administrator, 112 MacTanly Place, Staunton, VA 24401, or via to The SAWMPO ensures nondiscrimination and equal employment in all programs and activities in accordance with Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of If you have questions or concerns about your civil rights in regard to this project or special assistance for persons with disabilities or limited English proficiency, please contact the SAWMPO. Additionally, we have taken this opportunity to change the funding category for a portion of the funds we are to receive, to add new categories for future use, and to change the State TIP Identification numbers to reflect the Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission (CSPDC) as the recipient of these funds. The changes in the amount of funding reflect the inclusion of unused funds in the amount of $461,000 from 2014, that we would like to carry forward into FY15 but had not been identified as such in the previous TIP approved by the Policy Board in May This funding is being moved to the new category of Capital Contracting to allow a lower match of local and state dollars. The amendment is hereby released for public comment for 21 days. Final approval will follow pending any public comments that need to be addressed by the SAWMPO.
