DEPUTIES OF THE MONTH Deputy Christopher R. Simms has been named the Uniform Patrol Deputy of the Month. Dy.

Simms was commended by the Sex Offenders Unit for helping them to locate a convicted sex offender who was reportedly living at a local motel. Dy.

Simms was able to put together the information and was able to locate the sex offender at the motel and make the arrest. Deputy Eunice A.

She is commended for her promptness, pleasant attitude and professionalism. Lieutenant Leonardo D. Moore is the Detectives and Special Operations Deputy of the Month. He is assigned to Homicide/VCU.

During the course of the investigation EFSO had second homicide fitting the same scenario and asked for EBRSO s assistance. A suspect was developed, arrested and questioned. Lt.

2 DEPUTIES OF THE MONTH Deputy Christopher R. Simms has been named the Uniform Patrol Deputy of the Month. Dy. Simms began his career with the EBRSO in February 2015 in Uniform Patrol and he is currently assigned to the Kleinpeter Substation. Dy. Simms was commended by the Sex Offenders Unit for helping them to locate a convicted sex offender who was reportedly living at a local motel. Dy. Simms was dispatched to an unrelated call that coincidentally involved someone attempting to use that sex offender s cancelled credit card. Dy. Simms was able to put together the information and was able to locate the sex offender at the motel and make the arrest. Deputy Eunice A. Wilson is being recognized as the November Corrections Deputy of the Month. She has served the EBRSO in Prison Records since January 20, She is commended for her promptness, pleasant attitude and professionalism. Lieutenant Leonardo D. Moore is the Detectives and Special Operations Deputy of the Month. He is assigned to Homicide/VCU. Lt. Moore was working a shooting death in EBR parish when East Feliciana Sheriff s Office (EFSO) deputies arrived on the scene because they were working a similar case. During the course of the investigation EFSO had second homicide fitting the same scenario and asked for EBRSO s assistance. A suspect was developed, arrested and questioned. Lt. Moore did an outstanding job working with the EFSO Detectives and interviewing the suspect. He was able to obtain information from the suspect that supported his confession to the all of the homicides. Deputy Elden J. Gaspard, Jr., has been named the Civil Deputy of the Month. He is assigned to Judicial Process. He began employment with the office in Dy. Gaspard volunteered to work another area during the recent absence of one of his coworkers. His willingness help showed his dedication and devotion to getting the job done. Deputy Theresa B. Norman is the November Administrative/Support Services Deputy of the Month. She works in Crime Analysis. She accepted additional duties to help Fleet Operations for a few weeks while their secretary was absent. Theresa did a great job at Fleet Operations while still keeping up with her work in Crime Analysis.
