1 Women's Club News March 9, 2018 View this in your browser. Dear Friends, There is a lot going on this month so please check the calendar below for dates and time. Ladies, please don't forget the Kuentz Open House tomorrow, Saturday. It would be great if you could come into the clubroom and play a game or cards to show our visitors what we do in our club. See you at the club next week. Terrie Access to the Club New Board Policy As recommended by the Key Monitors to the Women's Club Board, please note this new policy which provides information about who will have access to clubroom keys which are kept at Kuentz pool/fitness center. Staff at the pool/fitness center has been provided a list of name of those authorized individuals. Our access to the clubroom is limited to certain hours approved yearly by the governing board at the Rec Center at RH Johnson. This new policy was approved unanimously by the Women's Club Board on March 1st. If you have have questions about this new policy, please see me or ask a Board Member. 7 Monitoring Responsibilities An updated print out of our monitoring instructions is available on our website, under the glass at the front desk, in the front of the monitoring notebook, and in the wire basket at the club. Please take time to read this before you come to perform your yearly duty at the club. ICE: In Case of Emergency Ice is a method of contact during emergency situations. A paramedic realized that at scenes of accidents mobile phones were always with patients, but he didn t know which number to contact. His idea was to name a contact in your phone ICE, and list the number as your emergency contact person. The paramedics and hospital staff would know who to contact. This great idea is now circulating on the Internet nationally. I have an ICE contact in my phone now. Won t you join me? Special thanks to Diane Perry for alerting me to this message. First Aid Kit There is a first aid kit in a brightly colored box located in the lower, left-hand corner of the monitor's desk. The 2018 membership directories are now available. Please pick up your copy from the monitor the next time you come to the club. Change to the directory: On page 2, under Friday's Key Monitor, please change Marilyn Cunningham's phone number to Her name also appears on page 10.
