2 Presenters Bios SCOTT KRISTIANSEN Law Enforcement Liaison, Illinois Department of Transportation Scott is the State Coordinator for the Illinois Traffic Safety Challenge. He has coordinated the judging of the National Law Enforcement Challenge and also serves as a national law enforcement challenge application evaluator. He retired from the Buffalo Grove, (Illinois) Police Department with over 30 years of service where he was in charge the traffic safety programs. TIM ROBERTS Florida Law Enforcement Liaison, Panhandle Region-LEL 3 (Senior LEL) Tim is a former police officer with the Lawrenceville Police Department (Georgia) with over 20 years of service. Tim worked for the Georgia Governor s Office of Highway Safety Law Enforcement Services as one of two law enforcement liaisons. He became the youngest Law Enforcement Coordinator for the State of Georgia. In 2013, Tim return to his home state of Florida to become a Law Enforcement Liaison with the State of Florida. BRENDA JONES Law Enforcement Liaison, Tennessee Governor s Highway Safety Office Brenda is the State Coordinator for the Tennessee Law Enforcement Challenge and also serves as a national law enforcement challenge application evaluator. She is a Law Enforcement Liaison responsible for highway traffic safety for the western portion of the State. Brenda retired from the Memphis Police Department at the rank of Deputy Chief after 28 years of police service.

3 Presenters Bios POWELL HARRELSON Powell is the senior LEL in the Law Enforcement Services Division at the GA Governor s Office of Highway Safety where he has worked for the last 7 years. Prior to that he worked at the City of Pooler Police Department for sixteen years and held the rank of Sergeant. Powell spent most of his career in the traffic division at Pooler PD. In 2002 Powell became a part time LEL for the GA Governor s Office of Highway Safety. HOWARD B. HALL Chief of Police, Roanoke County VA. Police Department Chief Hall is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, where he is the chairperson of the National Law Enforcement Challenge Subcommittee and serves on the Highway Safety Committee. He is also a member of the Virginia Chiefs of Police Association, serving on the Virginia Highway Safety Committee. He also chairs the Blue Ridge Transportation Safety Board.
