1 Annexure Z Dated: NOTICE FOR RETRENCHED OFFICIALS OF MARKFED SUGAR & ALLIED INDUSTRIES MALOUT, WHO APPLIED FOR THE POST OF CLERK, PEON AND PEON-CUM-CHOWKIDAR Reference advertisement for the recruitment of 327 posts of various categories appeared on in the Hindustan Times (English), Punjab Kesri (Hindi) & Jagbani (Punjabi) and detail uploaded on Markfed website, it was mentioned in the advertisement that first Preference will be given to retrenched employees of Markfed Sugar and Allied Industries, Malout in accordance with the orders of Hon ble Punjab and Haryana High Court dated in CWP No.3925 of 2010 titled as Harjinder and others Vs. The Punjab State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. and other. These employees may apply in case they fulfil the requisite qualifications except age. The candidates shown eligible for the post of Clerk, Peon-cum-Chowkidar & Peon in the above list as shown in Table-I, II & IV are hereby informed that they have been selected for the respective post applied for by them and appointment letters are being issued. 2. The case of candidates as at Table-III for the post of Peon-cum-Chowkidar in the above list have been kept pending for want/verification of original relevant documents/certificates so as to ascertain their eligibility for the post applied for by them. 3. The candidate as detailed in Table-V, have declared not eligible and reasons for their ineligibility has been given in their respective columns. 4. The selected candidates as declared above can also collect their appointment letter personally on Note: While every care has been taken in preparing the above list, the possibility of inadvertent errors cannot be ruled out. Managing Director, Markfed reserves the right to rectify the same later on and his decision shall be final and binding.
