DEPUTIES OF THE MONTH Ashley Presley, of the Criminal Records Division, has been named the Administrative and Support Services Deputy of the Month. Ms.

Deputy Clifton Street, Kleinpeter Substation, has been named the Uniform Patrol Deputy of the Month.

Deputy Street has proven himself to be a very professional and reliable deputy.

He recently responded to a burglary dispatch and due to his quick response was able to apprehend two suspected burglars on scene.

Deputy Sylvester Lee, of the Parish Prison, has been named the Corrections Deputy of the Month. Deputy Lee was hired in September of 2011 in corrections.

He has recovered numerous amounts of inmate contraband to include shanks, tobacco, tattoo guns, etc.

2 DEPUTIES OF THE MONTH Ashley Presley, of the Criminal Records Division, has been named the Administrative and Support Services Deputy of the Month. Ms. Presley recently joined the Sheriff s Office on July 17, She has done an amazing job in her short time here. She is a very fast learner and has a great attitude when dealing with the public. Deputy Clifton Street, Kleinpeter Substation, has been named the Uniform Patrol Deputy of the Month. Deputy Street was hired by the Sheriff s Office in January of 2010 and transferred to Kleinpeter Substation in August of Deputy Street has proven himself to be a very professional and reliable deputy. He completes his investigations and reports in a timely manner and never receives complaints from citizens or his supervisors. He recently responded to a burglary dispatch and due to his quick response was able to apprehend two suspected burglars on scene. His attention to his duties has created compliments from other divisions who have recognized his value to the Uniform Patrol Division and the Sheriff s Office. Deputy Sylvester Lee, of the Parish Prison, has been named the Corrections Deputy of the Month. Deputy Lee was hired in September of 2011 in corrections. Deputy Lee has consistently proved himself to be a valuable Deputy. He maintains a positive attitude and performs his job well. He has recovered numerous amounts of inmate contraband to include shanks, tobacco, tattoo guns, etc. At any moment, Deputy Lee can be called upon to work in any area of the prison without complaint and can effectively handle the situations that arise. Beverly Frazier, Tax Office, has been named the Civil Deputy of the Month. Beverly Frazier was hired by the Sheriff s Office in May of 2008 in the Criminal Records Division and transferred to the Tax Office in April of Mrs. Frazier is always willing to assist with new projects as they arise within the Tax Office. She possesses great customer service skills regardless of whether she is working at the counter or answering the phones. When she notices something that needs to be taken care of in the Office, she does it without hesitation. Beverly is a team player and works well with her fellow co-workers. Corporal Chad Jones, of Financial Crimes, has been named the Detectives and Special Operations Deputy of the Month. Corporal Jones was hired by the Sheriff s Office in February of 1997 in Communications and recently transferred to Financial Crimes in July of He is being nominated for the invaluable participation in an undercover buy/sell sting operation which is currently under investigation by the Sheriff s Office. Jones has kept accurate records of all buy/sell transactions and has coordinated with several outside agencies. As a result, State and Federal agencies are now a part of this operation. Although the matter still has some time before it comes to a conclusion, the Sheriff s Office anticipates that several arrests will be forthcoming.
