2 2015 Popcorn SALES Incentives X-Stream Glider - Fill a Sheet Any Scout who fills an order form (31 lines) qualifies for the fill a sheet prize an X-Stream Glider. Only one glider will be given to each qualifying Scout, regardless of how many sheets are filled. Fill a Sheet Prize Drawings - Fill a Sheet Any Scout who fills an order form (31 lines) receives an entry into (4) live online prize drawings. If a Scout fills and submits multiple order forms, they will have multiple entries into the prize drawings. Scouts who have their names drawn at the prize drawings will receive great prizes such as: flat screen televisions, legos, gaming systems, drones, and much more. BB Guns & Robotics Kits - Sell $750 Any Scout who sells at least $750 in popcorn will receive their choice of a Daisy Buck BB Gun or a HEXBUG Spider Robot. 1K Club T-Shirt & Events - Sell $1,000 Any Scout who sells at least $1,000 in popcorn will become a member of the 1K Club, and earn a free t-shirt, as well as their choice of a free ticket to one of many special events in the Spring of Past events have included: Detroit Pistons, Lansing Lugnuts, Grand Rapids Griffins games, waterpark passes, camp events, and many more. Selling $1,000 qualifies you for 1 free ticket, and every $500 sold above $1,000 grants the Scout an additional ticket. Online Sales Tablet Drawing - Make an Online Sale Any Scout who has at least one online sale as part of the 2015 popcorn sale gets a ticket with their name put into a drawing for one of 4 ipad Mini tablet computers. If a Scout has 10 online sales, they will have 10 tickets into the drawing. Military Sales Club Patch - Sell 5 Military Donations Any Scout who sells at least 5 - $30 or $50 military donations will receive a special Military Sales Club Patch. Grand Prize - Walt Disney Vacation - Fill a Sheet Any Scout who fills an order form (31 lines) automatically qualifies for the Disney Vacation - Grand Prize drawing. Each filled order form will result in one entry into the grand prize drawing for a 4 day / 3 night vacation for up to 4 people to Walt Disney World Resort in the Spring of 2016.

The unit will be asked as part of their prize / incentive order to indicate how many Scouts filled a form.

Scouts who have their name drawn will receive great prizes such as: flat screen televisions, legos, gaming systems, drones, and much more. Scouts from each Field Service Council will win each month. WHEN will Scouts Receive the prizes if they win? The Fill-A-Sheet prize drawings will take place on Fridays September 18, October 16, November 13, and December 11. All prize drawings will be broadcast online at 6 p.m. that evening through a link at: Prizes will be drawn for each Field Service Council at each prize drawing. Winners will be contacted in the days following, and pick-up their prizes at their local field service council office. HOW do Units and Families Submit their Filled Order Forms? Units and families will filled order forms to: mccpopcorn@scouting.org, or fax, mail, drop off copies of completed order forms to their local field service council office by 5:00 p.m. on (Thursdays) - September 17, October 15, November 12, and December 10. All submitted forms must clearly include the Scout s first and last name, unit number, district and field service council in order to be processed. Forms submitted without the required information cannot be counted.

5 Prize Incentive Any Scout that sells $ or more in popcorn as part of their 2015 popcorn sale. In recognition for the Scout s sales success qualifying Scouts will receive their chose of either a: Daisy Buck BB Gun or a Hexbug Robotic Spider. WHEN will Scouts Receive their BB Gun or Robotic Spider? Qualifying Scouts will receive the Robotic Spider as part of their unit s prize and incentive order. In most cases units will present these items at a December 2015 meeting. For the BB Gun Scouts will receive a voucher their parent will need to redeem at their local Field Service Council office. BB guns will be available for pick-up during normal business hours starting on Monday, December 7, HOW does the Unit Order the BB Gun or Robotic Spider? The unit will be asked as part of their prize / incentive order to indicate how many Scouts sold at least $750, and indicate a choice between a BB Gun & Robotic Spider.

6 Incentive Any Scout who sells at least $1,000 in popcorn in 2015 will qualify for the K Sales Club. Qualifying Scouts will receive a 1K Club T-Shirt, and will have the opportunity to get free ticket(s) to some great winter and spring 2016 events throughout the state of Michigan. Previous special events have included: Detroit Pistons Games, Waterpark Passes, Lansing Lugnuts Baseball Games, Camp Program Events, and more. Scouts will be given one ticket for selling $1,000 and an additional one ticket for every $500 sold above $1,000. WHEN will Scouts Receive the t-shirt and tickets if they qualify? The prize company will send a voucher certificate and t-shirt to the unit which will be given to qualifying Scouts as part of the unit s prize order. On the voucher, Scouts will be directed to a special 1K Club website where they will redeem their voucher for earned tickets to special events throughout HOW do Units and Families Submit their 1K Sellers? The unit will be asked as part of their prize / incentive order to indicate how many Scouts sold at least $1,000, and also indicate their shirt sizes.

7 MILITARY SALES CLUB Patch Incentive Any Scout that sells at least 5 Military Donations at the combined $50 & $30 donations levels. In recognition for the Scout s sales success qualifying Scouts will receive a special Military Sales Club Patch. WHEN will Scouts Receive the Patch? Qualifying Scouts will receive their Military Sales Club Patch as part of their unit s prize and incentive order. In most cases units will present these items at a December 2015 meeting. HOW does the Unit Order the Incentive Patch? The unit will be asked as part of their prize / incentive order to indicate how many Scouts sold at least 5 military donations as part of their 2015 popcorn sale. The prize company will send one patch to the unit for each qualifying Scout. The unit will give the patch directly to the Scout. 5

8 Grand Prize Drawing WHO Qualifies for the Grand Prize Drawing? Any Scouts who fills an order form (31 lines) automatically qualifies for the Disney Vacation Grand Prize drawing. Each filled order form will result in one entry into the grand prize drawing, and winning a fill a sheet prize, will not eliminate a chance to win the grand prize. If a Scout fills and submits multiple forms, they will have multiple entries into the prize drawing. WHAT does the Winning Scout Receive? The winning Scout will receive a 4 day / 3 night vacation at Walt Disney World in Spring 2016 including: 1 Room for 3 Nights at a Disney World Resort Property Park Passes for up to 4 Individuals for 3 days (1 park / 1 day) $1,500 Travel Voucher. *Meals are not included in this package. WHEN will Scouts find out if they Won? One lucky Scout will receive the Disney Vacation, and the live drawing will be broadcast online at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 17 through a link at the website. HOW do Units and Families Submit their Filled Order Forms? Units and families will filled order forms to: mccpopcorn@scouting.org, or fax, mail, drop off copies of completed order forms to their local field service council office. All submitted forms must clearly include the Scout s first and last name, unit number, district and field service council in order to be processed. Forms submitted without the required information cannot be counted. Filled forms submitted for the Fill A Sheet Prize Drawings also count for the Disney Vacation incentive. No need to submit the form twice.

9 Prize Incentive Any Scout who has at least one online sale as part of the 2015 popcorn sale gets a ticket with their name put into the tablet drawing. If a Scout has 10 online sales, they will have 10 tickets in the tablet drawing. Scouts who have their name drawn will receive a ipad Mini Tablet computer. WHEN will Scouts Receive the Tablet if they win? The tablet drawings will take place on Fridays September 18, October 16, November 13, and December 11. All prize drawings will be broadcast online at 6 p.m. that evening through a link at: One tablet will be drawn at each prize drawing from all entries across Michigan. Winners will be contacted in the days following, and pick-up their tablet computer at their local field service council office. HOW does the Unit Submit their Scouts who Sold Online? Units do not need to do anything for this incentive. Scouts names will be automatically pulled from the online sales system, and the names will be entered into the prize drawings. If a Scout s name is not pulled it will stay eligible to be drawn at a future prize drawing.

10 BB GUN INCENTIVE WAIVER 2015 Michigan Crossroads Council Popcorn Sale By taking possession of the BB gun I agree that as a parent or guardian of Scout,, I am taking full responsibility for my son s safety and wellbeing, and commit to properly supervising and working with him in using the BB gun I have taken possession of safely. I have read, initialed, and agree to the following as listed below, and agree that my Scout and I will follow the policies as written: BB Guns can only be used by Cub Scouts (ages 7-10, 1st-5th grades) at approved Council and District Outdoor Programs. BB guns cannot be used by Cub Scouts at unit sponsored activities, as it does not fall into the age appropriate guidelines of the Boy Scouts of America. I agree that the private use of this BB gun, not at a Boy Scouts of America private shooting sports activity, is deemed a private FAMILY activity, and is not a part of the Boy Scouts of America council programs. Private use of the BB gun is not covered under the Guide to Safe Scouting, and therefore is not covered under Boy Scouts of America insurance, or the insurance of your chartered partner. I agree to read and abide by the BB gun Shooting policies and guidelines as laid out in the Boy Scouts of America Shooting Sports Manual (pages 85-96) at: pdf/30931_wb.pdf I agree to read and abide by the Age Appropriate Guidelines of the Boy Scouts of America found at: I understand that the use of this BB gun involves a certain degree of risk that could result in injury or death. In consideration of the benefits to be derived an after carefully considering the risk involved and in view of the fact that the Boy Scouts of America is a not-for-profit organization: I hereby release and waive any and all claims that I may have against the Boy Scouts of America, Michigan Crossroads Council, BSA and Scouting s chartered organization and any of their affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers, directors and volunteers. I and my Scout, shall indemnify, hold free and harmless, assume liability for, and defend the Boy Scouts of America, Michigan Crossroads Council, or Scouting s chartered organizations, and any of their affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers, volunteers, and directors from any and all costs and expenses, including but not limited to, attorney s fees, reasonable investigative and discovery costs, court costs, and all other sums that the Boy Scouts of America, Michigan Crossroads Council, or Scouting s chartered organizations, and any of their affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers, volunteers, and directors incur as a result of any demand for claim or assertion of liability under any municipal, state or federal law or cause of action, including any action under the Americans with Disabilities Act, arising or alleged to have arisen out of any act or omission of, or any use of real or personal property belonging to me, the Boy Scouts of America, or the Michigan Crossroads Council, or Scouting s chartered organizations, and any of their affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers, volunteers, and directors.
