Taylor HRO Remote: TSgt Stephanique Watkins (205) *POSITION IS CONTINGENCT UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND RESOURCES* Position Description: a. INTRODUCTION: This position is located in the Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) Exploitation Section at an Air National Guard (ANG) Intelligence unit. The primary purpose of the position is to perform specialized IMINT duties as a Distributed Ground Station (DGS) crew member and to train assigned military unit members in the duties and functions associated with IMINT Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED). Provides real-time IMINT TPED support to National Agencies, Joint Commands, Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Air Operations Centers (AOCs), and US and coalition airborne assets in exercises and contingency operations. Ensures real-time and near-real-time IMINT reporting and analysis is timely and accurate. b. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1 Intelligence Operations Specialist/NCOIC of Standards and Evaluations TSgt - MSgt 1N171 General 66 Top Secret/SCI 5401 East Lake Blvd., (1)Serves as a DGS crew member in the IMINT exploitation section, responsible for IMINT operations and production affecting time critical targeting (TCT), direct threat warning, battle damage assessment, combat identification, combat search and rescue, multi-int correlation, threat analysis, mapping, intelligence preparation of the battle space, situation monitoring, and mission reporting. Provides IMINT correlation of data from multiple ISR platforms and intelligence products. Requests dynamic sensor retasking in order to exploit time critical information not originally entered into the collection plan. Assesses the data and provides cross-sensor cueing/tips-offs to other platforms and exploitation sections improving multi-int correlation. Updates Air Force DCGS (Distributed Common Ground Station) components and C4I nodes on IMINT findings. (2) Evaluates and interprets raw IMINT information received from all sources. Assesses present or future value and need of information and forwards to National Agencies, Joint Commands, Air Force MAJCOMs, and AOCs. Establishes meaning of information alters or adds significance to information to tend to conform or refute existing estimates of situations. Conducts studies and assembles factual data as required for analysis and interpretation. Participates in pre-mission conferences to outline mission objectives, potential threats, and possible outcomes.

2 (3) Interprets, exploits, and plots information derived from imagery, establishing specific data such as distance, cubic capacity of buildings, tanks and storage facilities, line of communications, transportation systems, number, type and specific location of facilities and marshaling areas, troop movements and contour of terrain and man-made features. Indicates changes revealed in current photographs in comparison with previous ones and in relation to other pertinent reference material. Plots simulated or actual bomb impact points and indirect bomb damage assessment (BDA). Prepares BDA reports; produces uncontrolled photographic mosaics, control charts, scribed overlays, procedure charts, maps, and aerial photo overlays to include details such as location of airports, facilities, defenses and other elements or features not ordinarily shown on maps and charts. Uses raw Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) imagery and other sources to accomplish time critical taskings received from National Agencies, Joint Commands, Air Force MAJCOMs, and AOCs. (4) Prepares post-mission reports from IMINT analysis of patterns, trends, and characteristics for general intelligence and operational community consumption. Prepares and evaluates finished reports relative to IMINT activities. Briefs analysis findings and estimates to superiors and mission planners. Publishes finished reports and documents for use by decision-makers in the squadron, AOC, Air Force MAJCOMs, Joint Commands, and the National Agencies. Researches, analyzes and plans IMINT exploitation activities in preparation for operational missions. Utilizes allotted resources for IMINT operations and analysis activities. Communicates with other intelligence departments and agencies to share data and techniques, findings, and planning for future operations. (5) Works with other crew members to ensure the IMINT exploitation section maintains a capability to provide timely and accurate operational intelligence support and fully trained intelligence personnel during peacetime and contingency operations. Coordinates with the Gaining Command on operational intelligence elements needed to carry out coordination and liaison with counterparts and colleagues in such other major command intelligence organizations as Air Combat Command (ACC) and Air Mobility Command (AMC), Air National Guard Bureau Headquarters (NGB), United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) and such other governmental agencies as Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Security Agency (NSA), U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM), Air Intelligence Agency (AIA), U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Represents the organization at interagency conferences and meetings that deal with specialty functions and internal training requirements at the unit level. (6) To enhance the DGS crew s mission readiness, maintains a thorough knowledge of all aspects of internal IMINT training. Represents the unit in making agreements and commitments within the assigned scope of his/her functional specialty. Provides guidance and assistance to unit and Gaining Command Intelligence specialists and serves to coordinate on projects jointly undertaken by the unit, gaining command, and other organizations. (7) Coordinates IMINT training requirements with Gaining Command Intelligence Section. Plans and develops objectives and work schedules for training assigned intelligence personnel during Unit Training Assemblies (UTA), Annual Training (AT), and unit deployments. Identifies training requirements and conducts or organizes training courses for intelligence personnel on IMINT related subjects. Serves as the subject matter expert (SME), trainer, and task certifier for all IMINT Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Mission Qualification Training (MQT), and Continuation Training (CT). Upon compiling the training requirements, incumbent works with the supervisor and Unit Training Manager to identify shortfalls and develop plans to correct them. (8) Performs other duties as assigned.

3 c. SUPERVISORY CONTROLS: Assignments are received in terms of mission goals and objectives and unit policies and procedures. During mission briefings, the mission commander identifies the goals, objectives and mission parameters. The incumbent will also identify potential problems along with suggested lines of approach from an overall team perspective. The incumbent is responsible for independently determining the specific methods, techniques and procedures to follow. Due to the changing complexities of real-time missions, sound judgment, ingenuity, and the ability to shift paradigms instantaneously is a regular requirement for the successful completion of work assignments. Assistance is available from the supervisor or mission commander for the more complex situations. Post-mission product reports are reviewed by the supervisor or mission commander for accuracy and completeness, soundness of data interpretation and how well the mission objectives are met. d. OTHER SIGNIFANT FACTS: Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance. Required to perform shift work and may be required to work uncommon tours on short notice. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS a. Knowledge. Knowledge is mandatory of: basic and advanced imagery interpretation principles, techniques, and procedures for imagery exploitation, reports, and presentations; Air Force, DoD, and national imagery intelligence collection systems and procedures; techniques of collating, analyzing, and evaluating imagery intelligence; use of national geospatial data, information and intelligence data systems and the maps, charts, grid systems, and interpreting equipment to solve geospatial intelligence problems; mosaic construction; intelligence reference materials; fundamental mensuration techniques; distribution of geospatial intelligence; requirements for, and sources and uses of target and geospatial intelligence data; production of geospatial related target materials; and security controls b. 1N171X. Qualification in and possession of AFSC 1N151X. Also, experience training or supervising exploitation team activities in support of geospatial intelligence production. c. Normal color vision as defined in AFI , Medical Examinations and Standards d. When required for a current or future assignment, must successfully complete a polygraph test. e. Must maintain local network access IAW AFI , Cybersecurity Program Management and AFMAN , Computer Security. f. Specialty requires routine access to Top Secret material or similar environment. Length of Tour: Initial AGR tour orders are probationary. The probationary period will not exceed three years. Follow-on tour will not exceed six years and will not be extended beyond an enlisted Airman s Expiration Term of Service (ETS) or an Officer s Mandatory Separation date (MSD).

4 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 1. Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve or the United States Air Force members who have not achieved a passing Fitness Assessment score are ineligible for entry into the AGR program. 2. Air National Guard members must meet the physical qualifications outlined in AFI prior to entry on AGR duty. 3. An applicant on a medical profile may apply for AGR tours as long as meet the aforementioned requirement and subsequently are medically cleared off any DLC/medical profile prior to starting a new AGR tour. 4. Applicants who do not hold the duty AFSC for the advertised position must meet minimum ASVAB requirements. 5. Must meet any Special Requirements as specified in the Position Description. 6. Failure to obtain and maintain a SECRET or TOP SECRET (if applicable) security clearance will result in removal from the AGR program. 7. Selected individual must extend/re-enlist for a period equal to or greater than initial tour end date. 8. IAW ANGI , paragraph 5.3., to accept an AGR position, an applicant s military grade cannot exceed the maximum military authorized grade for the AGR position. Overgrade enlisted applicant must indicate, in writing, the willingness to be administratively reduced in grade when assigned to the position. Officers may not enter into the AGR program in an overgrade status. 9. IAW ANGI , paragraph 5.7, an individual must not have been previously separated for cause from active duty or previous Reserve Component AGR tour. 10. IAW ANGI , paragraph 5.10, applicants should be able to complete 20 years of active federal service prior to Mandatory Separation Date (MSD). Individuals selected for AGR tours that cannot attain 20 years of active federal service prior to reaching mandatory separation must complete a Statement of Understanding contained in Attachment 3 of ANGI IAW ANGI , paragraph , members should remain in the position to which initially assigned for a minimum of 24 months. TAG may waive this requirement when in the best interest of the unit, State, or Air National Guard. 12. Entry/retention requirements for AFS are outlined in the AFECD/AFOCD.
