Albany State University Police Department, Albany, Georgia Part-time Professor (Criminal Justice and History and Political Science) Present Part-time professors assume the responsibility for teaching classes on an as-needed basis. Albany State University Police Department, Albany, Georgia Assistant Chief of Police-Chief Investigator, The Assistant Chief of Police assumes the responsibilities of Chief of Police in the absence of the Chief. In this capacity, the Assistant Chief of Police serves as the secondary safety officer in the operation and implementation of campus safety procedures, as well as in the administration of the campus Police Department. Provide security planning for the campus community. Supervise police personnel and maintain adequate staffing. Ensure units patrol the campus and roads that run through the campus. Oversee investigation units. Conduct internal performance assessments. Policy making and budget preparation. Seek Federal Grants. Participate in assigned community meetings. Lead criminal investigations Dougherty County Sheriff s Office, Albany, Georgia Operations Captain, The Operations Captain manages the support divisions for the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office. In this capacity, the Operations Captain serves as the chief officer in the operation and implementation of support services for the Dougherty County Jail facility.

3 Custodian of the records. Manage support services budget. Security contact liaison (Department of Corrections, Probation, Parole, and DA). Assign inmate labor details to assist the local government. Supervise operational staff (30 staffers). Maintain courtroom security for assigned judges and staff. Oversee security informational data processes. Coordinate wanted fugitive recovery. Oversee inmate mail process. Ensure Departmental vehicle fleet is above standards. Assist with inmate disciplinary hearing proceedings. 1. Created cross training programs which lead to several advancements in the department. 2. Increase the number of Transportation Officers. 3. Help created an Inmate Trash Detail. 4. Helped create a jail court officer for weekend arraignment. Albany Dougherty Drug Unit, Albany, Georgia Interdiction Officer/Narcotics Agent/K-9 Handler, Patrol the Albany/Dougherty area streets and highways for potential drug violators. My unit conducted raids, investigations and calls to suspected drug locations to apprehend drug violators. Provide K-9 assistance for the community and other agencies when needed. Conduct Dog and Pony Presentations for the local community and outside communities. 1. Help remove several dangerous persons out of neighborhoods with drug issues. Dougherty County Sheriff s Office, Albany, Georgia Watch Commander (Captain), The Watch Commander post was one of four Captains positions tasked with managing an 800 to 1000 inmate population. Meals, medical, mail, discipline, visitation were some of many daily functions required to operate the Jail. Monitor Male and Female inmates. Supervise Security Personnel. Resolve conflicts among inmates. Serve as liaison to relatives for the Inmates. Prepared to implement Emergency Operations Procedures. 1. Provided outstanding services for the facility.
