The cmpetitins will be gverned by the th Editin Natinal Standard Three-Psitin Air Rifle Rules. Cmpetitin Sanctin. The Natinal Three-Psitin Air Rifle Cuncil has sanctined the 2019 JROTC Service Champinships. Scres fired can be recgnized as natinal recrds. JROTC Service Team Champinships, Sprter and Precisin Classes. Each qualifying team may bring up t five cadets t the cmpetitin. If a unit team brings five cadets, they must designate the fur team members and ne alternate at the time f check-in. Subsequent substitutins are pssible nly in the case f illness r an emergency. Members f qualifying unit fur-persn teams will fire tw 3x20 curses f fire. JROTC Individual Champinships, Sprter and Precisin Classes. The fur members f each unit team, plus all at-large individual qualifiers, and all alternates will cmpete fr individual awards. On day tw f the match, the tp eight individuals in the precisin and sprter classes will cmpete in a 10-sht final. individual rankings fr these cadets will be based n the ttal f their tw 3X20 scres plus the final scres fired by the tp eight individuals. EIC Credit Pints. The Natinal Three-Psitin Air Rifle Cuncil recgnizes the JROTC Service Champinships as a Natinal Cuncil Member Champinship. The tp 25% f all Nn-Distinguished cmpetitrs in the verall individual rankings will receive EIC credit pints (cunts twards Junir Distinguished status) in accrdance with Natinal Cuncil regulatins (Appendix D in the Natinal Standard Rules). EIC Pints will be calculated after the cmpetitin has cncluded n the 18 th and will be made available the fllwing week. Cadet s that have recently earned their distinguished badges may bring their badges with them t be presented. Please turn the badge in at check-in. Qualifying fr JROTC Natinal Champinship. The JROTC Air Rifle Marksmanship Prgram will culminate with the Natinal JROTC Air Rifle Champinship n March The fllwing unit teams and at-large individuals will represent their respective JROTC services at the JROTC Natinal Champinship scheduled t take place at the CMP Suth Cmpetitin in Annistn, Alabama. At check-in, teams must cnfirm final entries and identify alternates (if any). All cmpetitrs must have their air rifles and shting equipment checked at equipment cntrl. Sprter air rifles will have trigger weights checked (1.5 lbs. minimum). Sprter clthing will be checked. Shters must cme t equipment cntrl with air rifles, slings, shes, kneeling rlls and all clthing they will wear during cmpetitin. Sptting scpes are nt permitted and are nt needed fr electrnic targets.

5 Shipping Air Cylinders. The Transprtatin Security Administratin has increasingly denied transprt f air and CO2 cylinders in checked baggage in checked baggage. The match will be fired n KTS Electrnic Targets. Shters shuld nt bring sptting scpes because the exact sht lcatins are shwn n electrnic mnitrs at each firing pints. Live Targets. Live target images will be available during the cmpetitins at: Shting Mats. Shting mats will be available in Annistn and Camp Perry. Hwever, shting mats will nt be available in Arizna. Athletes may chse t bring and use their wn shting mats at all lcatins (prne mat must cmply with the shting mat rule). Air and CO2. Cmpressed air and CO2 gas will be available at all lcatins. Scre Psting. All scres fired will be displayed n the CMP Cmpetitr Tracker results system at Scres and cmpetitr rankings will be displayed electrnically n the range thrughut the cmpetitin. Shter s Receptin. There will be an infrmal shters receptin that will take place n the last day f the cmpetitin after the finals have cncluded. This will allw teams mre flexibility with their travel plans. The CMP will prvide fd fr caches and cadets. Additinal receptin tickets can be purchased frm the CMP. Parents and Guests.
