1 MEMBERSHIP & RECRUITING Believe We Can Do It OCTOBER 2018 Loyalty for our Country and (National Theme) Sandra Jeffries, Department Chairperson 208 Wilson Street, Graham, NC for our Veterans (Department Theme) Program Goals: Recruit new members, Retain continuous members & Grow the organization Recruiting Tip: What are some suggestions you have for getting Dues paid? Drawing for Cash prizes, giving discounts for paying early, free life membership, give life membership for members with longest attendance, etc. Give me your thoughts and use some of these ideas. Highway to 100+%: Guess who has already hit 100%: Aux#10403 Wadesboro, Aux#4147 Bailey, Aux#9810 Warsaw, Aux#10999 Raleigh, Aux#11173 Walnut Cove, Aux#6724 Paw Creek, Aux#7775 Charlotte,, Auv#9736 Croft, Aux#5198 Canton, Aux #4717 Bailey, Aux#9810 Warsaw, Aux#8969, Aux# 9960 Swansboro We Believe We Can Do It Challenge: Current Challenge is still underway and I have had very little interest: #1--By October 31st each Auxiliary at 100% will entered into drawing for $10.00 and Districts at 100% will also be entered in drawing for $10.00 #2--District Presidents that are making a difference towards Membership send me the ideas that you have and you could also get a surprise. More Money, More Money, More Money: Department of NC will be entering a contest given by National for organizing and presenting a fact sheet and brochure to give to new members that includes data about our organization. This mean that we need time and talents from Auxiliaries in our department to design our fact sheet and/or brochure. Current Contests: Fact sheets and/or brochure. Entries can be sent either by Auxiliaries or by Districts entries. This mean you have 2 chances to win. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. The best of these will be sent to National. I need all draft entries by October C of A where they will be judged and considered for entry to National. We want great participation and this is a huge volunteer opportunity of you time and talents.
2 Resources: Keep this contact information handy and get to know your membership team Eastern Area Chair: Central Area Chair: Western Area Chair: Laura Verdon Amelia Jordan Gerry Taylor 709 Kingswood Drive 257 Walstone Rd 1806 Hugh Champion Rd Cary, NC Fayetteville, NC Tryon, NC # # # Reporting: Calendar of Events: Council of Administration Meeting, October 5-7, 2018 Cary, NC Currently we are 75.26% in membership.
