As the Chief of Staff General LaBarge serves as the primary advisor on all Air Guard matters to the Adjutant General. He is responsible for establishing policy and monitoring operations of more than 5800 people assigned to five flying units and four geographically separated support units. General LaBarge received his Air Force commission through the Officer Training School program in After serving in the United States Air Force, General LaBarge joined the New York Air National Guard in 1991 where he has served in leadership positions at the squadron, group and wing level, including two Wing Commands. He has also served at Headquarters New York Air National Guard and Headquarters, United States Air Force. General LaBarge is a command pilot with over 5,700 hours in the T-37, T-38, C-5, C-130, LC-130 and C-17 aircraft. He has flown combat missions and combat support missions in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as well as polar airlift missions in Antarctica in support of Operation Deep Freeze. Timothy Lunderman is currently serving as the Special Assistant to the Director, Air National Guard for Headquarters Air Force, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Chief Information Dominance and Chief Informational Officer (SAF CIO/A6). Responsibilities include initiating force structure and advising National, Federal, State, local, international and private industry leaders on the capabilities, authorities, legislative responses, capabilities and building force capacity in the National Guard for Cyber Warfare. General Lunderman also works for a large technology integrator as a Cyber Security advisor. General Lunderman received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corp in After serving in the United States Air Force as an F-15C Instructor/Evaluator, General Lunderman joined the New York Air National Guard in 1999 where he has commanded frontline F-16C combat units. He has been integrally engaged with the National Guard Bureau, Department of Defense Joint Staff, United States Cyber Command, Headquarters Air Force, Air Force Space Command, the National Reconnaissance Operations Center and Interagency leadership. General Lunderman has commanded over 2200 flight hours in the T-37, A/T-38, F-15C and F-16 aircraft. MacDonald is the Commander, 162d Wing, Arizona Air National Guard base with operations located at the Tucson International Airport, and Davis- Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. General MacDonald assumed the position in November 2016 and commands the Air National Guard's largest F-16 and Remote Piloted Aircraft wing with over 1,800 members. The 162d maintains 74 F-16 aircraft for training pilots in support of United States and Partner Nation requirements; provides persistent, armed MQ-1 Intelligence Search Reconnaissance and Analysis Application capabilities to sustain national and state interests; supports North American Aerospace Defense Command Air Control Alert directives with 24/7 immediate response aircraft in the defense of North America. Additionally, the wing provides maintenance support for the Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve Test Center General MacDonald received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 1987 from the State University of New York at Binghamton and was commissioned in 1988 with the Marine Corps at Quantico, Va. Meyer is the Special Assistant to the Director, Air National Guard for Headquarters Air Force, Air National Guard Assistant for Training and Readiness. Jessica Meyeraan is the Vice Director, Manpower and Personnel for the National Guard Bureau Joint Staff. As the Vice Director, J1, she serves as the deputy to the Director and fully shares in assigned duties and responsibilities for providing overall manpower and personnel policy, planning, integration, analysis, and oversight for the Chief of the National Guard Bureau in order to enhance National Guard Bureau and Joint Force Headquarters initiatives, personnel readiness, operational capabilities, and sustainment. This includes advocating for National Guard service members, families and veterans. Owens II is the Assistant Adjutant General - Air, New York National Guard, Latham, New York. He is the primary advisor on all Air Guard matters to the Adjutant General. He assists the commander in ensuring mission readiness for the five New York Air National Guard flying wings, the Eastern Air Defense Sector and several geographically separated units. General Owens received his commission in 1985 as a Distinguished Graduate of the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science, Knoxville, Tennessee. After completion of pilot training, General Owens served in numerous operational assignments in the New York Air National Guard. Prior to becoming the Assistant Adjutant General for Air, he served as the Commander of the 106th Rescue Wing, located in Westhampton Beach, New York. General Owens is a command pilot with more than 3,900 flying hours in the A-10, F-16, MQ-1, HC-130 and HH-60G to include over 450 combat hours during 120 F-16 combat sorties over Southwest Asia. He has flown in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Provide Comfort, Operation Northern Watch, Operation Southern Watch, Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Pierce is the Deputy Director of Operations, Headquarters North American Aerospace Defense Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Salas assumed duties as The Adjutant General, New Mexico on 25 July As The Adjutant General, he serves as senior military advisor to the Governor and is responsible for providing the State of New Mexico and the United States with a ready force of citizen soldiers and airmen. He directs, manages and supervises the administration, discipline, organization, training and mobilization of the New Mexico Army and Air National Guard. He ensures the organization is equipped and trained to respond to any domestic disaster or combat contingency. Additionally, General Salas serves as Commander of the State Defense Force, President of the State Armory Board and provides oversight for the New Mexico Civil Air Patrol. In this position, General Simpler is responsible to the Assistant Adjutant General-Air for mission readiness, operations, and coordination of eleven Florida Air National Guard units at seven geographically separated sites, including $137.9 million in operating budgets, 2,000 personnel, and a Headquarters staff of 44 members. Prior to his current assignment, General Simpler served as Commander, 125th Fighter Wing, Jacksonville, Florida. As the Commander, he was responsible for the Federal Air Sovereignty mission, the State mission of the unit and the geographically separated units. General Simpler received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in May 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Humanities. He then completed undergraduate pilot training at Reese Air Force Base, Lubbock, Texas, where he was named a Distinguished Graduate. Stokes serves as the Deputy Director, Strategy, Plans and Programs Directorate, United States Africa Command, Stuttgart-Mohringen, Germany. In this capacity, General Stokes assists the Director in crafting policy and strategy; integrating international and African partner military efforts on the continent; and conducting a wide range of U.S. interagency and international engagements to achieve the commander's priorities throughout the U.S. Africa Command area of responsibility. General Stokes entered the Air Force as a graduate of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) at the University of Minnesota in While there, he earned both a Bachelors and Master of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics. A native of Duluth, MN, General Stokes served in multiple locations on active duty as a mission commander and instructor pilot in the F-15. In 1991 he transitioned to the F-16 and joined the 148 th Fighter Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard. General Stokes accepted his first command position in 1988, and has continued to lead at the squadron, group, and wing levels to include deployed command in Afghanistan. Thomas K.Wark is the Senior Advisor to the Air National Guard Directorate of Requirements. He assists the Director Air National Guard and MAJCOM Commanders in the modernization and interoperability of Air National Guard aircraft and equipment to meet Combatant Commander requirements in the Air, Space, and Cyber, domains along with State's Adjutants General's requirements for domestic operations. Woodrow is Commander, 154th Wing, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. He is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and oversight of all Wing programs, as well as providing mission support to subordinate Wing Unit Commanders and other attendant units on four geographically separated Hawaiian Islands. The 154th Wing represents the major air component organization of the Hawaii National Guard. It is the largest Wing in the United States Air National Guard, with approximately 2,000 officers and enlisted personnel. The 154th Wing operates and maintains the C-17A, KC-135R and F-22A. In partnership with the 15th Wing, the 154th Wing employs Total Force combat and peacetime support to operations across the State of Hawaii and throughout the world. General Woodrow graduated from West Virginia University and was commissioned as a distinguished graduate through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps in May His active duty positions included various instructor/evaluator pilot jobs at the squadron and group level, and a Headquarters Pacific Air Force staff officer tour. Wyrick is the Assistant Adjutant General for the Hawaii National Guard. He advises the Adjutant General of Hawaii and the Commander of the Hawaii Air National Guard on all matters regarding the organization, training, and equipping of the Hawaii Air National Guard (HI ANG). The HI ANG consists of over 2200 personnel assigned to 11 different units on four different islands in the State of Hawaii, including three flying units of the 154th Wing (F-22 Raptor, KC-135 Stratotanker, and the C-17 Globemaster III). Brigadier General Wyrick is the former Command Surgeon for the Air National Guard, and his most recent assignment was as the Deputy Surgeon General of the National Guard Bureau serving as the full time medical advisor to the Chief National Guard Bureau. Brig Gen Wyrick is dual Board Certified in General Surgery and Aerospace Medicine. He has combat experience as a trauma surgeon at Balad Air Base, Iraq. He also served as the Chief of Aerospace Medicine for the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing at Bagram AB, Afghanistan during his most recent combat deployment in He is a member of the Hawaii Air National Guard and was first commissioned in the Oklahoma Air National Guard in He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri and completed his surgical training at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His previous assignments include Director of the Air National Guard Medical Service, Joint Surgeon of the Texas National Guard, and Hawaii State Air Surgeon.
