DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT)/ABSORPTION Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or Public Undertaking holding analogous post or with two years regular service in the grade of Pay Band-4(Rs.37,400-67,000 and Grade Pay Rs.8700/- with twenty years Group A service and possessing qualifications and experience prescribed below:- (A) (i) Current Airlines Transport Pilot s License or

2 current Commercial Helicopter Pilot s License with current Flight Radio Telephone Operator s License and current Instrument Rating on BSF Type o of Aircraft or Helicopters; and (ii) Flying experience to fly Aircraft above all up weight 5700 Kilogram /Helicopters as Pilot-In - Command with VIPs as per DGCA norms; and (iii) Minimum 2000 hours as Pilot-In-Command on Multi- Engine Aircraft or Helicopter with 1000 hours Pilot In Command on BSF type of Aircraft or Helicopters ; or (B) (i). Current military Flying Category A / B Master Green rating preferably with DGCA endorsement of Pilot In Command on BSF type of Aircraft or Helicotpers ; and (ii) Flying experience to fly helicopters as Pilot In Command with Very Important Persons as per Military Norms; and (iii) Minimum Pilot In Command experience 2000 hours on Aircraft or Helicopters including 1000 hours on BSF type of Aircraft or Helicopters. II. FOR EX-SERVICEMEN (i) Deputation/ Re-employment The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications as prescribed at I (A) or (B) above shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation term up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment. (ii) Re-employment The retired Armed Forces personnel possessing qualifications and experience as prescribed at I (A) or (B) above, and held analogous or equivalent post in the Armed Forces of the Union and the break in service should not be more than two years. Note: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years on the date of receipt of application.

DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT)/ABSORPTION Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or Public Undertaking holding analogous post or with five years regular service in the grade of Pay Band-3 (Rs ) and Grade Pay Rs.7600/- with 15 years Group A service and possessing qualifications and experience as under:- (i) Current Commercial Pilot s License or Commercial Helicopter Pilot s License category with current Flight Radio Telephone Operators License; or Current Military Flying Category B Green rating with medically fit flying on BSF type of Helicopters ; and (ii) Current Instrument Rating; and (iii) Total flying experience of 1000 hours. II. FOR EX-SERVICEMEN Deputation/Re-employment The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed at I above shall also be considered and such persons shall be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces ; thereafter they may be continued on reemployment. Re-employment The retired Armed Forces personnel possessing qualifications and experience as prescribed at I above and held analogous or equivalent post in the Armed Forces of the Union and the break in service should not be more than two years. 4 (3) SECOND-IN-COMMAND (PILOT) Pay Band-3 Rs plus Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-. VACANCY 06 For ALH Dhruv/ Embraer BJ 135/SKA B-200/HS 748 AVRO. I. DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT)/ABSORPTION Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or Public Undertaking holding analogous post or with five years regular service in the grade of Pay Band-3 (Rs ) and Grade Pay Rs.6600/- and 11 years Group A service and possessing qualifications and experience as specified below:- (i) Current Commercial Pilot s License or Commercial Helicopter Pilot s License category with current Flight Radio Telephone Operators License; or Current Military Flying Category B Green or C Green rating with medically fit flying on BSF type of Helicopters; and (ii) Current Instrument Rating; and (iii) Total flying experience of 750 hours. II. FOR EX-SERVICE MEN (i) Ddeptuation/Re-employment The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications mentioned above at I(i) to (iii) shall also be considered and such persons shall be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment. 5 (4) CHIEF ENGINEER(DIG) Pay Band-4 Rs plus Grade Pay Rs. 8900/- VACANCY - 01 For Rotary Wing (ALH Dhruv & MI 17 IV Helicopters). I. DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT) / ABSORPTION. Officers under the Central Government or the State Governments or Public Undertaking holding analogous post or with two years regular service in the grade of Pay Band-4 (Rs ) and Grade Pay Rs.8700/- and with 20 years of Group A service and possessing qualifications as prescribed below:- (i) Holder of current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License in Category A and C or any two categories out of E, I & R with minimum five years experience on any two type of Aircraft or Helicopters operated by BSF as prescribed from time to time as per requirement; or Holder of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications or Aeronautical stream with minimum five years experience on any two type of Aircraft or Helicopters operated by BSF as prescribed from time to time as per requirement ; and (ii) Total Aircraft or Helicopter maintenance experience of twenty years (including fifteen years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer as prescribed from time to time as per requirement. Note : The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years on the date of receipt of applications. (5) DEPUTY CHIEF ENGINEER ( COMMANDANT) Pay Band-4 Rs plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700/- VACANCY - 02 For ALH Dhruv (Helicopters) I. DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT) / ABSORPTION Officers under Central or State Government or Public Undertaking holding analogous post or with five years regular service in the grade of Pay Band-3 (Rs ) and Grade Pay Rs.7600/- with fifteen years Group A service and possessing qualifications as prescribed below:- (A)(i). Holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer s License in any two categories of Avionics Stream ( E,I and R); or

6 Holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License in categories Airframe (A) and Engine (C) in Mechanical Stream; and (ii) Total Aircraft maintenance experience of fifteen years including 10 years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on BSF type of Aircraft or Helicopters as prescribed from time to time as per requirement ; or (B).(I)(i). Holder of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications or Aeronautical stream; and (ii) Total Aircraft or Helicopter Maintenance experience of fifteen years including ten years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on BSF type of Aircraft or Helicopters as prescribed from time to time as per requirement; or II.(i) Holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer s License in category Radio Navigation (R) with current Radio Telephonic Restricted Operator s License and Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer s Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer s License in Avionics Stream (ES or IS) ; or Holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer s License in categories Airframe (A) and Engine (C) in Mechanical Stream; and (ii) Total Aircraft Maintenance Experience of 15 years including 10 years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on BSF type of Aircraft or Helicopters as prescribed from time to time as per requirement. (i) FOR EX-SERVICE MEN Deputation/Re-employment The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed at I (A) or (B) above shall also be considered. DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT)/ABSORPTION Officials under the Central Government or the State Government or Public Undertaking holding analogous post or with five years regular service in the grade of Pay Band-3 (Rs ) and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- with qualifications and experience as mentioned below:- (i) One year Stores Management or Material Management Course from a recognized Institute; and (ii) Possessing Nine years experience in Stores Provisioning and knowledge of procedure relating to purchase and imports of aviation goods and modern method of inventory control, Stores, Accounting and Administration. II. FOR EX-SERVICE MEN (i) Deputation/Re-employment The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed at I (i) to (ii) above shall also be considered and such persons shall be given deputation term up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Force; thereafter they may be continued on reemployment. DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT)/ABSORPTION Officials under the Central Government or the State Government or the Public Undertaking holding analogous post or with three years regular service in the pay grade of Pay Band-2 (Rs ,800) and Grade Pay Rs.4600/- and possessing qualifications and experience as specified below:- Essential (i) Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers; or Degree in any discipline with one year s Post Graduate diploma in Stores Management or Material Management from a recognized Institute. Desirable (ii) Experience in Engineering or Aviation and training on Advanced Light Helicopter or Dhruv. Indian Air Force Officers joining BSF Air Wing on deputation will be under the administrative and functional control of DG BSF and will continue to be subject to the Air Force Act and Rules for disciplinary purpose as per the Agreed Terms & Conditions signed between MHA and MoD. They will continue to draw the pay & allowances as they are entitled and drawing in the IAF with Deputation Allowances as per Government of India s Instructions. They may claim in addition Flying Incentives at par with BSF Air Wing Officers with a minimum amount equal to the Flying Pay admissible in IAF from time to time. They will wear their uniform and carry their own rank & badges. They will be extended the facilities of corresponding post of BSF Air Wing personnel. 5. The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department shall ordinarily not exceed three years. 6. The Departmental Officers who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
