1 PRESS RELEASE Christopher Protsman Chief of Police Released: September 17, 2018 POLICE BLOTTER Monday, September 10, An officer conducted a traffic stop on Wilmington Pike at Smithville Rd. Patrick A. Brown (B/M/27) was arrested for an outstanding Franklin PD warrant for contempt of court Jason P. Byrd (W/M/18) summons for Underage Consumption of Alcohol and Theft ( ) Dallas M. Brando (W/M/19) summons for Underage Consumption ( ) 1136 Officers were dispatched to Kettering Municipal Court to pick up (2) subjects who had warrants. Navaughn M Gilroy, b/m, 30, was arrested on a DPD Warrant (Failure to Identify), & a Kettering warrant for Contempt of Court. Latoya Lynn Lydia Smith, b/f, 23, was arrested on a Kettering warrant for Contempt of Court. Both subjects were transported to KPD Jail An officer was dispatched to KMC to assist KFD with a subject with a MCSO Warrant. Michael H Bullock, w/m, 32, was transported to MCSO on a probation violation warrant (original charge of criminal trespassing)
2 2050 An officer was dispatched to a signal 10 where the passenger of one of the vehicles fled the scene. Steven F. Cooley (W/M/29) had a warrant for a Probation Violation, through Montgomery County and was taken into custody and transported to KPD Jail Wednesday, September 12, An officer conducted a traffic stop at Farmside and Rainbow. Charity A. Smith (W/F/22), was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abuse instruments and was issued a summons for possession of marijuana. Kanan Pittman (W/M/22) was issued summonses for possession of marijuana, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for Non-compliance DUS Officers responded to Riverside PD for a domestic violence, which occurred in our city at 1770 Big Hill Rd. Livingstone Ndayishimye, b/m, 36, was arrested for DV & Agg Menacing, and transported to KPD Jail Officers responded to Ackerman/Stroop on a disturbance call involving (3) subjects. The following were arrested: John M Willett, w/m, 67, for Disorderly Conduct; Richard E Grabill, III, w/m, 40, for Disorderly Conduct; and Victoria L Blackburn, w/f, 33, for Theft Officers were dispatched to 4504 Sunray on a warrant service. Jessica J. Collins (W/F/20) had an active warrant through Fairborn for Aggravated Arson. The warrant was confirmed and Collins was taken into custody and transported to KPD Jail An officer located Brian K. Pertee (W/M/50) at 2920 Shroyer Rd and arrested him for a warrant through KMC for FTC on an original Disorderly Conduct charge Officers responded to the CVS 524 E. Stroop Rd for a theft in progress. Jamie L. Woods (B/M/53) was arrested for theft An officer was dispatched to Tipp City to take custody of Britney R. Fitch (W/F/24). Fitch had an active warrant through Kettering or Passing Bad Checks. She was arrested on the warrant and transported to KPD Jail
3 2110 Officers responded to 1431 Norton Av. on a warrant service. Zachary B. Slocumb (W/M/38) had warrants through Montgomery County for FTA / Child Support and through Fairborn for FTA / Assault and Aggravated Menacing. Thomas Slocumb (W/M/69) was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing Official Business. They were transported to KPD Jail without incident KPD was contacted by an FBI Agent due to threats made to complete a school shooting. Jeice A. King, W/M/15, was arrested for making terroristic threats and making false alarms Thursday, September 13, An officer conducted a traffic stop on Wilmington Pike for a moving violation. Joseph R. Pretzinger (W/M/26) was arrested for possession of cocaine. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia (M4 & MM) An officer was in the area of Smithville and Forrer when he noticed a red Camaro northbound from a dispatch alert of a possible impaired driver. John R Bretelson W/M/52, was arrested and transported to Kettering Jail where he refused to submit to a breathalyzer test An officer made a traffic stop at Forrer and Mayl for unsafe vehicle on a white Dodge driving with a flat tire. Robert Nolan B/M/25, received summons for drug possession and drug paraphernalia An officer was dispatched to Town & Country on a hit and run. Jeffrey Castle W/M/59, was arrested for OVI. He was transported to Kettering Jail where he submitted to a breathalyzer test with a result of BAC An officer was dispatched to Frisch s in Moraine for a field transfer. Miamisburg PD had Samantha Wilson W/F/41, in custody on a Kettering warrant for FTC original charge of theft. Friday, September 14, An officer attempted a warrant at 2329 S Dixie and made contact with Kristie Kaiser W/F 41yo. She was found to have an active warrant for theft, 18CRB1731, from Kettering. She was transported to Kettering Jail for processing before being transferred to Montgomery County Jail An officer was in the area of Patterson and Flesher when he witnessed Darrell Pancake W/M 46yo, crossing against a red pedestrian traffic signal. Pancake
4 was found to have a warrant from Centerville PD for FTC on OVI. Pancake was taken into custody and transported to Kettering Jail Saturday, September 15, An officer conducted a traffic stop on Bobbie Pl/E Dorothy Ln for an equipment violation. Amber D Ankeney, w/f/33, & Brittany J Whitacre, w/f/29, were arrested for felony drug possession & drug paraphernalia. Both were transported to KPD Jail An officer stopped a suspicious subject on a bike near Shroyer & Cushing and discovered the subject had an active warrant through MCSO for a Probation Violation, with original charge of drug possession (cocaine). Michael D Ryon, w/m, 24, was arrested & transported to KPD Jail An officer responded to the alley next to Circle K, 1105 W Dorothy, on suspicious subjects. After making contact, one subject was found to have an active warrant through Moraine PD for disorderly conduct. Jimmy D McCary III, b/m, 41, was arrested and transported to KPD Jail Officers were dispatched to a theft in progress at TJ Maxx, 302 E. Stroop Road. Brandi N. Anglin, W/F/32, was arrested for theft An officer made a traffic stop at 1701 W. Dorothy Lane. Cameron L. Carson, W/M/43, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and cited for no driver s license, non-compliance suspension, and failure to reinstate. Carrie J. McKinzie, W/F/33, was found to have a Lebanon PD warrant for theft. McKinzie was arrested for the confirmed warrant and issued a summons for possession of marijuana An officer made a traffic stop at 2100 E. Whipp Road. Dyvon D. Leonard, B/M/25, had an entered Miami County SO FTA warrant for forgery. Leonard was arrested for the confirmed warrant An officer made a traffic stop at 4516 Croftshire. James A. Hall, W/M/38, was arrested for possession of drugs, drug abuse instruments, and drug paraphernalia
5 2104 Officers responded to a single car accident which struck a building at 2762 Wilmington Pike. Jeana I. Gibbs (W/F/40) was arrested for OVI. Gibbs was transported to the Kettering Jail where she refused to provide a breath sample Sunday, September 16, An officer responded to 3960 Far Hills on a suspicious complaint and arrested Rhobyn I Waggoner (B/M/41) on a MCSO warrants (theft & forgery). She was also held on felony drug possession charges An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of West Dorothy. Joseph L. Cboins (W/M/35) had an active felony warrant for domestic violence and was arrested. Cboins was also found in possession of suspected meth and paraphernalia. He was transported to jail and also charged with the related drug offenses An officer responded to Warren Co Jail to pick up a subject held on our warrant. Angela M Miller, w/f, 38, was arrested on the FTC warrant, original charge of theft, and transported to KPD Jail & then to MCSO Jail Officers were dispatched to the area of PNC Bank, 3079 Woodman Dr., on reports of a black male on bicycle exposing himself. Kenneth Brown, b/m/52, was arrested for theft, public indecency, probation violation, and parole violation; and transported to KPD Jail An officer came back from MCSO Jail with a subject held on our warrant. Alante C Jones, b/m, 20, was arrested on the FTC warrant, original charge of Crim Damaging, and transported to KPD Jail Officers responded to 1023 Wenbrook Dr for a protection order violation. Jodey A. Heath (B/M/37) was arrested for felony Carrying Concealed Weapons, felony Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, felony Violating a Protection Order and misdemeanor Using Weapons While Intoxicated. He also issued a summons for Disorderly Conduct An officer observed a theft in progress at Meijer. Jonathan C. Severt (W/M/32) was arrested for Resisting Arrest, a warrant through Moraine
6 and two through MCSO, Obstructing Official Business and Theft. He was issued a summons for possession of drug abuse instruments. Paula R. Hardin (W/F/54), was arrested for a Dayton warrant and was also charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and issued citations for DUS etc.
