BERK Chairman SHAWN CAMPBELL District Manager January 18, 2017 Dear Community Resident: In accordance with Section 204 of the New York City Charter, the Mayor has submitted for review and comment, the Citywide Statement of Needs for Fiscal Years 2018 and The purpose of this statement is two-fold: to inform the public at the earliest possible stage of the City s future needs for facilities and the specific criteria for selecting their locations; and to provide information about the existing distribution of City properties. The Statement of Needs, the Atlas of City properties and the Criteria for the location of City Facilities adopted by the City Planning Commission are now available for review by the residents of Community Board 14. The Statement of Needs describes City facilities, that are proposed for closing or expansion in the next two (2) years.
