Sept May As Chief, Technical Committee, U.S. Army Intelligence School (USAINTS), was responsible for all programs of instruction,'special courses, and special briefings in technical subjects in support of Area Intelligence, Counterintelligence, and interrogations for all three services and the Department of Defense Industrial Security Program. Technical subjects included Defense Against Sound Equipment, Defense Against Methods of Entry, Intelligence and Investigative Photography, and Anti-intrusion Alarms and Alarm Neutralization. Served as advisor to USAINTS Departments of Counterintelligence, Area Studies, and Combat Intelligence in technical operations. Advisor to U.S. Army Intelligence Command in polygraphy. Provided technical advice, instruction, and support to Maryland State Police, Baltimore County Police Department, and Baltimore City Police Department. In support of the Defense Supply Agency, provided countrywide technical demonstrations and instruction to security and executive personnel from industry. Chief supervisor for 50 U.S. Army personnel and civilian employees. Aug Sept As Region Commander, Counterintelligence Operations, U.S. Army RVN, was responsible for counterintelligence operations and area intelligence in Northern Republic of Viet Nam, to include installation security and establishment of informant nets and positive collection operations. Special Advisor to Vietnamese National Police and RVN Army Military Security Force (MSS). Chief Supervisor for 40 Intelligence Corps Special Agents. July Aug Project Officer and subsequently Chief, Special Equipment Branch, Materiel Requirements Division, U.S. Army Combat s Command Intelligence Agency. Responsible for the creation, organization, and administration of all research and development programs in Area Intelligence and Counterintelligence equipment for the U.S. Army.

Responsible for the creations of special texts and programs of instruction in the Spanish language and their presentation to selected and representative student officers of all Latin countries. Special Advisor to U.S. Army Military Groups in Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador and Panama; Team Chief, Special Military Training Team for the Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Counterinsurgency and Technical Operations for Latin America; Chief Liaison Officer for 1963 and 1964 Conferences of the American Armies.
