3 Commander s Corner Members, Happy New Year to all!!! The focus for the New Year is Officers for our Post for the year positions. Our slate of officers needs to be in place by our February meeting. If you are a current officer and are willing to step up and continue to serve in an office, please contact me. If you are not an officer but are willing to learn about becoming one please contact me. We need volunteers to do this or we cannot survive as a Post. Out of our several hundred members there are only about 15 who are willing to give this organization a few hours a month of their time to keep it alive. That is just not enough. Please call me at and we can figure out what would be a good fit for you to help with a few hours a month. Thank you. Jerry Hanson, Commander Jerry Hanson, Post Commander First Vice s Notes American Legion Post 14 members: We are in the middle of our 2016 membership renewal for Post 14. If you have not already sent in your membership renewal for 2016, please do so as soon as possible. As of Dec. 30 we have 368 AL members and 18 SAL memberships. HELP POST 14 GET TO OUR 2015 MEMBERSHIP LEVEL BY SENDING IN YOUR 2016 MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL NOW: HELP MAINTAIN OUR PAST MEMBERSHIP LEVEL!! Find out details and other items at our American Legion Post 14 by attending the monthly Post meetings. At past monthly meetings, we only had around 10 members which is about 2.6% of our membership; would be nice to get at least 10%(about 30 members) of members to show up for monthly meeting!!.
