4 MAGTF Support (MTSS) Services Description/Summary of Program Requirements MTSS provides Pre-Deployment Training to USMC operating forces within the context of a Joint and combined environment to improve USMC warfighting skills. Realistic computer-based simulation training, Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) training, Combined Arms Staff training, and a Deployable Virtual Training Environment capability for individual Marines through senior Marine Corps commanders and their battle staffs, is provided at multiple CONUS/OCONUS sites. Multiple Award Contracts (MAC) 1 st Qtr FY19 to 1 st Qtr FY28 (Current PoP Ends: 26 OCT 18. On a 6-month extension) 1st Qtr FY November 2018 RFP Release Contract Award Cubic Global Defense, Inc. 4

5 Virtual Support (VTSS) Description/Summary of Program Requirements Virtual Support (VTSS) is a contract that provides continuous life-cycle operations and/or maintenance support for fielded ground training systems including: simulation/training devices, augmented live-fire, and other support as directed. VTSS services include contractor operation and maintenance of training systems and facilities, and the provision of materiel support within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) in support of Marine Corps and other Service requirements. Virtually all USMC units will utilize VTSS-supported ground warfare training devices/ranges at one time or another in preparation for deployment or in maintaining personnel/unit qualifications. Systems: RAGTS, MAGTS, TAGTS, AGTS, LAV-DT, AAV-TT, ODS, ISMT, CVTS, CCS, DRET (HEAT and MET). TBD TBD 2 nd Qtr FY19 3 rd Qtr FY19 RFP Release Contract Award ProActive Technologies, Inc. 5

6 Emerging Technologies Description of Technology Requirements Head-Mounted Display (HMD): Requirement is for the HMD used by the Forward Observers (FO) and the Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) to perform at the Marine Corps training ranges during training exercises that could last several hours. Technical and Human factors such as Weight, Size, Image Quality, Field of View, Focal Length, Latency, Safe Use, and Battery Life are key technical drivers. The new technology should take the Human Systems Integration into consideration to meet the safe use of HMD by Marines in an open training range. Non Laser Solution for Force on Force training: Requirement is for a replacement of current laser technology used in Force on Force training. During direct fire engagements with small arms, current laser technology does not properly compensate for bullet drop, wind effect, leading of moving targets, and can offer false concealment and cover protection. The new technology should allow Marines to conduct realistic direct fire engagements of targets at unknown distance while moving, during all-weather environments, and to properly employ realistic cover and concealment. 6
