CSAT, LLC DECEMBER 2013 INFORMATION LETTER/UPDATE: GENERAL INFORMATION: We recently conducted a Tactical Pistol Instructor class along with a private Long Range Hunter and a two-day Tactical Rifle Class. In the future, we will no longer hand out disks/cd s with class powerpoint. In an effort to go green and save money, we will have a stand-alone computer with class information on it and students can either down load the information to a DVD/CD/Hard or Thumb drive when coming to or leaving a class. I will still have paper manuals for the short term. TACTICAL CORNER: Nothing to note. INSTRUCTOR NOTES: I have been working with and mentoring future CSAT instructors for some time now. I have a small core of instructors who fit the professional and training profile that I require to teach CSAT classes. I have numerous requests for two-day firearm classes that I am unable to teach due to other commitments and time constraints. I am in the process of building an instructor staff and my current three instructors spend all their vacation and off time teaching Law Enforcement classes. From time to time we invite students from instructor classes to come back and help teach, but I am very selective in my instructor cadre. My current instructors spent their own time

Page 2 monitoring classes, working on their technical (shooting skills) and their delivery of class information. Further, positive interaction with students is critical.

Many instructor students that I see come back believing that because they have a certificate from CSAT, that they are capable of teaching. None are to my standard. The instructor certificates that I issue mean you are capable, but now need to go and practice my/your system. Most don t and when they come back, they fall on their face. After that, I have some brutal critique sessions with potential instructors. They may be a personal friend, but I will send them packing in a heartbeat if they do not teach the standards I have set. I have fired/laid off/not called back more instructors than I have kept, way more. In this era, you cannot swing a dead cat and not hit a tactical instructor. Most are poor to below average as they think the word instructor on the back of their hat or shirt makes them qualified. Generally they are a legend in their own mind. Rest assured that at CSAT, I will be there to monitor and calibrate instructors until they are ready to teach on their own. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact me. 3 Page 3 MONTHLY PERSPECTIVE: OBAMACARE Our President is and will be known as the greatest failure in our history. No work experience, work ethic, no background, no morals and people still voted for him. Part of me says that 50-70% of the American people are just plain stupid. Americans appear to have been dumbed down by either TV or having the good life for too long and not realizing what it takes to maintain this lifestyle. Many are lazy and don t want to go the distance to work and make it, rather they go to the dark side and sell their soul and vote for a cell phone. Most are too dumb to breed, but they still do in record numbers.

Oprah threw the race card down as an excuse for Obama s failure. Until the black race stops doing that, they will be looked down upon.

4 Page 4 Oprah went on record to say that people do not like Obama because he is black. That is not the case. People do not like him because he is stupid. He surrounds himself with stupid people of the same low caliber. He has failed at everything he has tried to accomplish except for setting the record for the most vacations of any president. Oprah threw the race card down as an excuse for Obama s failure. Until the black race stops doing that, they will be looked down upon. All they are saying is that I am black, I failed and I make excuses. The one thing President Obama should have done well was roll out the health care plan at a 90% ready to go level, as most businesses would have done. It goes to show the ineptness of the federal government and that they cannot be trusted with such a monumental task. This is where Obama has no clue. He is used to working with such ineptness and that is how he measures everything. It is almost expected. Not ever having a real job or leadership experience is costing our country.

5 Page 5 We must pass it to see what is in it, was said by Nancy Pelosi. Probably one of the most stupid things I have heard. We need to clean out congress and only keep the young fire breathers who want to fix the system.

If we had a better class of elected officials, I would not suggest term limits.

6 Page 6 Further, I am pissed that congress excluded themselves from the same healthcare system they forced on the rest of America. Those representatives that took care of themselves and their families before that of the average American should be voted out of office. If we had a better class of elected officials, I would not suggest term limits. But to see the likes of Charlie Rangel and other who are elected by an ignorant and pathetic voter base, it is time to clean house and elect representatives who have the best interests of America in their heart.

8 Page 8 JOIN THE NRA.. Don t live in fear, live prepared. I was asked by a reader about my thoughts on open carry. In short I am against it. There is little need unless you just want to intimidate people. We have enough concealed carry systems available for both pistols and rifles to make sure you have a rapid access. As for the Army Sergeant that was recently arrested and convicted for road marching with a weapon near Ft. Hood, Texas, he was a dumbass. In my day, if you wanted to road march with a weapon, you could on a military base. It was considered a form of exercise. This Army dork decided to do it in the civilian community that was unaccustomed to seeing this and he took his son along to see his bad example. I am glad the police stopped and confronted him. We need to confront stupid people in our society and hold them accountable. If you walk down my neighborhood street with an M4 type rifle across your chest and I don t know you, I will confront you with my rifle and if you fail to comply in the least, you will not survive the encounter. First, it is not normal. Next, how do I know that you are not going to kill one of my neighbors? Sometimes individuals in our country go stupid and try and push things too far ON A LIGHTER NOTE:

11 Page 11 TRAINING: In regards to my Long Range Hunter class, I suggest students maximize the training time by bringing a scope on their rifle that has either vertical ranging lines, tic marks or mil-dots. On day two we shoot at to 700 yards. The system we use can be applied to any weapon system, but with standard crosshairs and an average caliber, you can only hold off to about 400 yards. RANGE UPDATE: Nothing new to report EQUIPMENT: I have written many articles for magazines, websites and the like and I am looking at a goal of writing one article a month and posting it on my site. I will either do this or submit them to a gun magazine. Below is a list that I have been asked about: Gas vs. Bolt precision rifles Optics to include zero mag, fixed and variable Slings and sling points Lubrication Flash hiders/muzzle brakes Misc. equipment As for equipment, I get a great deal that comes our way. Many folks want an instant endorsement. I like to test stuff for months before I give my seal of approval. Most of the equipment I come in contact with is quality, but needs some tweaking. I like folks to purchase one time and be happy with the purchase. Tactical Handbag For the ladies this month, a purse that is designed to safely conceal your handgung.
