Further phases are now under discussion with Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Palau and the Federated States of Micronesia stakeholders and development partners. Antoine Geron, Polyconseil Satellite Plans Will discuss geosynchronous satellite, coverage, capabilities and service solutions that facilitate and support telecommunications development in the Pacific Ocean Region, including the new Intelsat 18 and 19 satellite launch, service transition plan, and the inclined orbit capacity for the Pacific Islands. 3 O3B - Low Earth Orbiting Satellites The Pacific Islands geographic and economic nature makes satellite as the one of the main option for its connectivity, and in most countries for its back haul. This presentation will discuss how O3B s low earth orbiting array of satellites, near fibre quality connectivity can become reality for the Pacific Islands at even lower costs.
