2 INTRODUCTION The Gurley Leep Changing Lives Scholarship Program stands as a reminder of the deep beliefs of the Gurley Leep Automotive Family culture, and the service to mankind for advanced and continuing education. The program opens the doors to education opportunities for a number of dependents of Gurley Leep Automotive team members. Under the Gurley Leep Changing Lives Scholarship Program, scholarships equal in amount to tuition and academic fees but not more than $5,000 per academic year may be awarded for as many as four years of post-high school education. All award payments are nontaxable. The Gurley Leep Automotive Family urges each team member to become familiar with the provisions of the plan in order to encourage participation. Both the team member and the student must meet eligibility requirements in order to apply for a scholarship. Students are eligible to receive the scholarship award up to age 23. PARENT ELIGIBILITY To qualify for the Gurley Leep Changing Lives Scholarship Program, the following guidelines must be followed: 1. Parent must have been employed by a Gurley Leep entity for two consecutive years prior to August 1st of the applicable school year in a full-time position; 2. If a team member quits or is terminated by Gurley Leep, all future benefits are forfeited; 3. Team member must have positive performance reviews along with satisfactory attendance habits. 4. The parent must remain a full-time team member.

3 STUDENT ELIGIBILITY The eligible student includes natural-born children, step-children, and legally-adopted children living in the team member s household up to the age of 23 at the beginning of the school s academic year; 1. The student must have and maintain a cumulative 2.5 Grade Point Average (G.P.A) to receive scholarship benefits; 2. If the student falls below a 2.5 cumulative G.P.A., the benefits will stop. Once the 2.5 cumulative G.P.A. has been reestablished, the benefits will be reinstated, non-retroactively. 3. If the student is accepted to an accredited institution with a G.P.A. of less than 2.5, the student may apply for the scholarship once the child achieves a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 or greater; 4. The student must present a letter of acceptance from a two or four-year accredited college or technical school to receive benefits for the first year of post-high school education; 5. Student must be a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester) to receive scholarship benefits; 6. Student must present a full transcript, including upcoming scheduled classes, and the student s account statement from the school each semester to maintain the scholarship; 7. If the student receives other scholarships (i.e., athletic or academic), the Gurley Leep Changing Lives Scholarship Program will first be applied to any tuition expense remaining after the other scholarships are applied. If the money remains after all tuition expenses are covered, it will be applied to campusprovided room and board only. In no instance will the total scholarship exceed $5,000 per academic year, and in no instance will funding be made for spending money ; 8. An updated invoice from the student s college or university, along with the student s fall and spring semester grades, and the student s schedule of classes must be turned in by December 28th to process for the spring semester payment; 9. If any deadline is missed, there will be no retroactive payment of scholarship money; 10. Student must complete 30 hours of verifiable community Service per year at a 501(c) (3) charity by August 1st to obtain/maintain the scholarship each year.

4 Community service hours must be performed at an IRS recognized charitable organization. Additionally, community service performed to complete school, fraternity, sorority, or legal responsibilities cannot be applied to the student s scholarship requirements; 11. The student must submit verification of community service hours performed on the charitable organization s letterhead; 12. Community service hours may be completed at multiple charitable organizations. HOW TO APPLY Each parent is responsible for submitting the required documents on the enrollment checklist for the applicable school year. All items will need to be submitted directly to Scholarship@GurleyLeep.com. All documentation will be reviewed by the executive management team. ENROLLMENT SUBMISSION TIMELINE In order for Gurley Leep Automotive Family to process the application and approve the scholarship, please submit the applicable documentation in one packet to Scholarship@GurleyLeep.com by the following deadlines based upon the start of the school year. August 1st for the Fall Semester December 28th for the Spring Semester Upon review, the Gurley Leep Automotive Family team member will receive a letter of approval. This confirmation will include an invitation to the next scholarship recipient s fall informational meeting.
