13 California Office (2) KU - Robert Huang Entrepreneurship Program QREP is the entrepreneurship program implemented in 2006 by the support of "Kyushu University-California Found," a fund created mainly through a donation by Mr. Robert Huang KU graduate from Taiwan Participants: About 20 participants mainly from undergraduate/master courses annually Objective: to stimulate students' entrepreneur spirit, to provide opportunities to help them to be internationally-minded and independent, to deepen the value of university education, to increase motivation for learning, & to help them understand entrepreneurism and current venture business industry Field Program in Silicon Valley Various lecturers (44 lecturers, 22 lessons President & CEO SYNNEX Corporation Mr. Robert Huang (1968 Electronic Engineering graduate)

20 Kyushu Univ. has decided to tackle East Asian environmental issues as part of the universitys commemoration project for its 2011 centenary,, having launched an international project composing of industry and outstanding academic experts, assembling seven teams dedicated to various environmental issues. The project aims to solve environmental issues in East Asian region by conducting international joint research among major institutions in China, South Korea, and Japan.
