9 Objectives and key questions JOB Graduate surveys help us to... evaluate the employability of our graduates (Did our graduates find an adequate job?) get to know the demands of the job market (Which competences do they need in their current job?) collect information for the improvement of our study programmes (Which contents and conditions of study did support the development of these competences?)

10 Implementation and current practice of conduction 2007: first graduate survey at UDE (graduates from 2006) in the framework of the graduate survey cooperation project (KOAB) coordinated by the International Centre for Higher Education Research (INCHER) 2012: cooperation within the KOAB-poject becomes obligatory for all Universities of Northrine-Westphalia (by performance aggreement between state and Universities) currently 72 German Universities are cooperating within KOAB about graduates are surveyed per year aims of the project: cross-institutional higher education research professionalization of graduate surveys
